Nice little town farmers market. Unfortunately since the rail crossing was closed traffic is practically non-existent. Loyal customers come but many do not know it exists or where it is. The number of vendors has decreased dramatically. Miller and Sons (local farmers) is a wonderful produce vendor that has faithfully come every week. Fabulous high quality, fresh produce. Most weeks grass fed beef, honey, kettle corn, handmade soap, & 1 or 2 other smaller produce vendors. The setting is quaint in the town park next to some historic restored buildings under some nice big shade trees. Plenty of parking....
Read moreLocated right beside Harrisburg Park, this is a nice quiet area with lots of trees. Right next to the Historic Harrisburg Post Office. A new pavilion with clean restrooms was built here last year(2017) so it's a great place to picnic by the pond. Just remember that this can only be accessed from the NC-49 end of Robinson Church Road and that the road is cut off if you are coming from the I-485 end of Robinson Church Road.
