Walraven's Country Gardens Fruit Market — Local services in Harrison

We have purchased beets for 20 plus years from Walravens. This past year the owner’s son was clearly in a HURRY as he loaded beets into the bed of my truck, digging beets off the side and denting my immaculate new Chevy High Country! I contacted the owner, and he told us to bring thee truck in( which we did) only to have contact with the wife who come out to look at my truck and tell us that ( those were minor dings) NO... this is a $70,000 truck) which she DIDN’T care about or do anything further! She informed us , her husband would have to look at it when he was there next🙄 We showed back up when the husband was there,only for him to tell us that his son was at fault and to take it up with him William/ the son). As business owners ourselves, we would have NEVER dealt with such an incident in such a POOR manner! We would have accepted fault and compensated our customer immediately! WILLIAM WALRAVEN along with his parents(owners) failed to handle the situation and denied denting my truck in numerous places! We will NEVER give this place business again and we will spread...

I enjoy shopping here and glad to see its open. Used to have to go to Midland for a good selection of decent priced, fresh vegetables and fruit! I would have to go without, cost of gas would stop any kind of Big City run for fresh fruit n veggies! I also wanted to add ... n maybe its just me?? lol So far this season it seems that there is not as much variety as other local fruit n veggie markets, or what this place usually has. Feels like the pre-packaged food selection has grown n fresh, local fruit n veggie selection dwindled?? Hopefully due to not being open very long.. I will keep...

We enjoy the store located in center of Harrison. They carry a variety of produce, meats, cheeses, jarred goods, a few groceries and garden soil amendments, mulch and PLANTS. Just got the majority of my herbs picked out yesterday and shopped all my dinner needs for last night's meal on the grill. There smoke pork chops are the best.
