I came in to sell some DVDs that were taking up too much space in my house and I wasn't looking for a huge payday or anything. But was hoping for a little cash. But despite the fact that they have a large amount of space in their movie section for expanded inventory (we're talking huge amount of space. Could easily put a couple hundred more on the shelf) they didn't want them. They said they're not able to take anymore. I was desperate to just be rid of them so when I offered them for free they suddenly were super happy to take them. Obviously I have no one to blame but myself. I could've tried to sell them elsewhere. But it did make me realize that these guys are just looking to make a quick buck and not really interested in actually paying for anything you bring in. It's not the first time I've had a bad experience either. I once brought in a fender stratocaster guitar that was easily worth a few hundred dollars. But they didn't wanna give me more than 70 because they said it was only worth about $150. I've been building, repairing, buying, selling, and pretty much been engrossed in guitars for most if my life. I know what that things worth. And I'll give you a hint. It's worth A LOT more than 150. These guys aren't very knowledgeable about the value of items. I hope for their sake that they haven't been selling Strats for only $150. Overall though, maybe just take your items elsewhere. You can get some good deals on stuff to buy but if you're looking to sell, go...

I took my ring in to have it fixed that was a enhairantes from my mother who is no longer worth us told me it wold be 2 weeks it's been ow most a month 3 days shy and seams that have lost my ring not only lost my ring but also kicked my husband out and off the property do to this problem but in all rights he has a reason to be mad what husbond wouldn't be mad over something like this if you like being respected and you won't more trust worthy ppl I'd advise you to go to jbs pown on rout 11 and talk to Sam and hes family and hes employees way more trust and respect from jbs I have lost all hope n trust n pown empoirem down town and watch out for the young short hair tall guy that seams to be some relation to the owner may even be hes son I'm told I don't k ow but he well tell you one thing then say he never said or did it and gets away with it and make you out to be a liar and still low balls you mine as well punch me n my jaw I'd like that more them being low balled and disrespected Sam is a good guy and so there are a couple other nice and fair guys n there but just watch your self going here if you like 30 to 40% less then you could get somewhere else then this is your place if you don't care to much but NOT A GOOD PLACE SOMTHING NEEDS TO BE DUNE ABOUT THIS PLACE AND THIS EMPLOYEE AND HES LIES AND PROBLEM THEY...

I have been dealing with this outfit for a while. While always broke, poor, and living from check-to-check, I always have precious assets in pawn.. I never seem to have enough money for all my expenses, much less, enough to justify redeeming my pawned music-gear. I'm in a very vulnerable position right now.. A position that any other shop would take every advantage of. Not these guys! These people have made it ABUNDANTLY evident to me that they value their customers' business and loyalty. While other pawnbrokers in the area have an affinity for instant-gratification, this group invests in the loyalty of it's clients. Sorry for having written a book, but I feel like it's the least I could do after their most recent display of kindness and grace! In closing, I truly do hope that some may find this review helpful and that it somehow benefits their business.
