These folks have been around for as long as I can remember. I’ve been gone over 25 years and just retired back to my hometown. I often pick up flowers at grocery stores on occasion. I needed a spring bouquet and began to lament the fact that there weren’t any real florists around anymore. I drove down Main Street just to take a gander to see if Blue Ridge Florist was still there...voilà! Parking was nearby and very easy. To my eye, inside the store hasn’t changed much and it’s still very much a delight, reflecting all the seasons and holidays. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. After having my previous florist fall through, I was worried when I started back my search only a few months out from my wedding that I would not be able to find someone to do what I was looking for within my budget. Jennifer responded to my emails super fast and had me in for a meeting even faster. She talked through my wedding and plans and made me feel so at ease, it was like talking with a friend. She took my ideas and inspiration for florals and ran with it. She created the most beautiful bouquet for myself, the wedding party, moms, and dads. My husband shops here every Christmas for me a Bearington plush bear. He could easily order online, but loves going here because the sales lady is so nice and always helps pick one that I will love.

I also recently needed three large floral arrangements for a special event. My husband took in a photo and ordered the first one. I then found out we needed two more and they let me email a photo of the style I wanted for those. They were also nice enough to make an exception and deliver outside their normal area.
