I went in there today to look at some stuff that I am gonna need for a bridal shower and I had told them that I had ordered some things off-line and I saw one of you guys cashiers standing off on the left side watching me like I was gonna steal something and that’s just really bad for y’all‘s business and yes, I’m a black female and I get it, but also I used to work for you guys so that just makes you guys look really bad. I’m gonna go in there and get what I gotta get tomorrow and I will never return back to the store because like two people was following me around not only that you had one watching me and then you had one talking to me like it’s just weird. That was just weird to me and I didn’t say nothing because I’m not want to bicker and argue or say something far as that I had already made a purchase through you guys online and then the one lady went to the back and then the other lady was like are you sure you found everything like yeah I found everything so I’m gonna go make my purchase tomorrow, but I hope and pray that it’s not the same young ladies, I’m just gonna pay for my stuff and leave because I don’t want things to get ugly and what I mean by that is I don’t wanna have to say something as far as them following me around, but it made me feel uncomfortable because I worked for you guys for two years in a row and that’s like one of my favorite stores and I work at the Halloween store so on S. Went into Spencer’s to get a late birthday present for myself while wearing a mask I had some trouble breathing and pulled it away from my face to get 5 seconds of air and was rudely told to keep it on I’m sorry I’m a human being and need to breath every now and again. I will never shop here again after being treated like a robot instead of a human very bad customer service they don’t need to be open in this pandemic to us essential workers we wear them 8 hours a day every day they don’t have too so I’m gonna take a breath of fresh air when I need too reguardless. Store is always in good shape and the staff is generally pretty friendly aside from today. I agree that everyone needs to wear masks during the pandemic but there are people who aren't able to. The guy at the front of the store was extremely rude the mask policy. I am %100 sure the information he was giving on policies was completely inaccurate.
