After enduring three days of unfortunate turmoil, visiting Geek Squad, Best Buy, and making calls/chat conversations with Verizon call center, my daughter’s cellphone issues seemed endless. Battery problems, charging glitches, and the complexities of iPhone security features made the transition to a new phone a daunting task. We felt overwhelmed and disheartened.
Then, we walked into this particular Verizon store, and everything changed. From the moment we entered, the staff greeted us with kindness and a genuine willingness to help. I had no idea this location offered such comprehensive assistance beyond just selling accessories. They patiently walked us through every issue, explaining each step with clarity and I can’t say this loud enough, determination, to resolve our problems.
Their compassion and fun sense of humor extended to my daughter, making her feel comfortable and cared for throughout the process. Despite the small staff team there and a busy environment, other customers chose to wait, recognizing the exceptional service provided by the staff. Even if it meant standing and waiting… Think about it, when you get an oil change, there are chairs, tv, drinks, etc. this location deserves more comfort options for customers willing to be here for possibly hours. We would have waited another three days for their service.
A big thank you to Steven for his dedication, extensive knowledge, and welcoming demeanor. His commitment to resolving our issues was truly commendable. And to Roderick, your attentive care and understanding support in finishing up our visit did not go unnoticed. Your combined efforts completely changed a challenging situation into a positive experience, and we are...
Read moreI am amending my review: I have been back here from time to time and have had good service since my last 1 star review. But, since we have met Grey at this store, We have had the best customer service. She is great to work with, takes the time to show product features and answer whatever questions we have. We were in there today and walked out with new phones and better plan with a lower monthly bill. Grey took the time to work it out for us to get a great deal. She has become a friend to my wife and I. I just wanted to mention how much better the store is now. I’m bumping my review up to 5 stars cause I can’t do 10. Grey is the best.
Previous 1 star post: My wife broke her Note 5 and we came in to this gowireless store for options on a new one. The guy helping us is a nice guy, I don’t know his name and don’t really care. He was helpful to my wife and we get good enough service when we’ve been there, so that’s good. What I am tired of about this place, is when my wife asked about an iPhone, his response was “we don’t recommend the iPhone and wouldn’t sell her one”. In fact, every time I’ve been in this store, I’ve got the same attitude towards the iPhone. I don’t care about the iPhone vs Android battle, but I do care when a customer wants options, they should get options and not opinions. The guys job is to help a customer decide what to get, not be told what to get....
Read moreGenerally not bad, however, it was on Black Friday and the entire time the manager Tyler was telling my wife and I about the deals and all the stuff that we "get". He continued to use the word "get" which to most people means it's included with something. We "get" cases for our new phones. We "get" a car charger. We "get" new 6' cables for our phones. When it came down to buying the phones, we had to pay over $300. We assumed it was mostly taxes and new activation fee's. It struck us as a bit high, I even asked what about the Black Friday deals we get, and he just said oh yeah you "get" this stuff, pointing to the cases and so on.
Well, after looking at the receipt, it turns out the "get" means that if you buy it, you get it. Duh! If we pay for something, of course we get it. Rather than having to pay re-stocking fee on those wonderful Black Friday items that we "get", and to deal with someone who in my opinion sneakily charges you for things by not telling you that you "get them if you pay for them", we'll just eat the cost.
USE A DIFFERENT WORD next time. Don't say "get" when you mean "pay for", especially on Black Friday when it's confusing enough all the sales and...
