Sam's Quick Stop — Local services in Hartford

Well, here's my experience about Sam's. They make,and sell BARRONET COFFEE! (not that funky tasting green mountain stuff!) (Yuck!!) Its a pretty well stocked bodega located downtown right next door to B.K. .Though it's hit or miss if B.k. is ever open, Sam"s is always is open!!! You can bet the bank on that!! They are RARELY IF EVER, CLOSED!!! The prices are good to reasonable, the coffee is really good and strong,( Baronet). Now, m-f in the early morning, You could be run over by people trying to get their coffee!! No joke!! And the guy making all that coffee for everybody, is generally always running around remaking,restocking sugar,and condiments, and coffee.( he could run ya over too! Lol!) But everyone will usually stop and help you should you need assistance with something. The store is stocked with everything from aspirin,-zippo lighters! So if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask! Sam's is open - Mon. - Fri. 4:30 am - 11pm. Sat., and Sun. 6:30am(ish)-11pm They apologize for the occasional pan-handeler and riff raff. The man at the counter seems nice enough, but he charged $6 for a two liter bottle of Fanta and a 50.7 oz bottle of Poland spring water... aka Nestle. Maybe that is the price you pay for convenience, but at least label the price. I am here for a week. Other than Sunday I can just walk an extra block to CVS.
