Harbor Freight — Local services in Hartsville

This store has (until this issue) always been friendly and responsive. It's also much cleaner and well kept than my usual store in Florence.

The problem is when there is something wrong, that friendly and responsive attitude appears to go out the window. I made a purchase and the cashier didn't put my items in the bag with everything else I bought.

Not a big deal ... I called the store and spoke to a very rude manager. She was argumentative and near hostile. I asked that the store manager call and I never heard a word.

I have since filed a complaint with corporate Harbor Freight and American Express. It's pretty disappointing a customer has to do something like that to get their money back when an error is made...

I am very unsatisfied with the store. I went and ordered a big item I was told it will be in in two weeks. Then when two weeks comes around they say it’s gonna be another week. They tell me the day it’s going to be in I called back and check they say yes a truck has come in but they’re not gonna unload it until that night so it’s gonna be the following day before I can get my product. So I buy Another big item piece that they had in the store I get it home it is all dented up and scratched up and there’s nothing they would do about it besides return it. This is the worst harbor freight that I have...

If you have been to Harbor Freight, this is exactly what you would expect. If you don't know the joys of Harbor Freight, you should visit whenever you have the need for an inexpensive power tool, generator, or air compressor. The stuff you get here is imported and sometimes of questionable quality, but you can get a warranty on nearly anything there. So when your $19 sawsall self destructs you can just go get another one.
