The cashiers and manager have very poor customer service skills and professionalism. Their debit machine was broken and they laughed and mocked at my comment of it not working. The cashier who hasn't even spoke to me at this point went and got a manager. She came out and didn't speak to me whatsoever. No one apologized for my inconvenience, no one offered to move me to another register, and most importantly they didn't thank me for my business and patience while I waited for them to fix the machine. I live in Florence, but work in Hartsville. Some mornings, I stop by Piggly Wiggly on my way to work. I know the store is supposed to open at 7, so I will wait in my car until 7:05. Lately, I have been waiting in my car longer, and they will not open. One day, I waited outside the door, it was 7:10. They saw me standing there and still would not open. This is one of the better Piggly wiggly stores I have been to. The prices and selection are okay, the service has always been friendly to me. The best thing about this one, however is the location. It's centered in a better part of town than any other Piggly wiggly I have been to.
