Wow! In preparation of my criss country move I had my prescription transfered to this pharmacy well in advance of my arrival. That decision was based off multiple rave reviews. The day after we arrive I popped over to grab my script and introducemyself. I was exhausted after spending the previous 12 hours unpacking. My initial impression was skeptical as the location was in what appears to be an abandoned strip mall. Walking inside solidifiied my further disappointment. The aroma was of old newspapers, while the dust on the post apocalyptal, half empty shelves was hard to ignore. But it dosnt end here, as I approached the counter, despite multiple people recognizing I was in need of tbir assistance no one ever greeted me or acknowledged my existence for a good 5 minutes despite no other customers. Once the extremely undernourished, middle-aged unpleasant woman that appeared to be the cashier mumbled something I can only assume was her inquiring to my prrsence. I gave my info and she immediately retreats to the pharmacist area and a huddle ensues.
She returns, and tells me, "we dont currently have this strength" and stops speaking.
Umm, "are you or did you order it? I mean my doctor called this in over a week ago. Is there any reason ya'll didnt order the medication?" Her upper lip twitched a bit and just stared bkanky at me. I continued, "My family and I just relocated here and I transferred my prescription giving y'all ample time to order this very common drug and strength." Yet there I was.
As a healthcare professional, I found their service beyond lacking, bordering negligence.
What a bizarre little hole in the wall. Im skeptical about their business practices and am baffled as to HOW they are still in business. They're clearing operating a few decades behind the rest of the world. And that should be a red flag. If the business and customer service ends of a shop can't manage to meet very basic expectations of any mom and pop shop, the only reason one would opt for this genre vs a corporate pharmacy i can only imagine what standard they hold themsoeves to as pharmacists. Leqving your community without medications is unacceptable a d THANK GOD CVS, riggt cross the street mind you, saved the day and filled my script in 15 minutes of having it. Do yourself a favor and just skip this time cañsule and pop in to the sire thing...
Read moreThis is the BEST pharmacy I have been to in 20 years!!! If your insurance doesn’t make you go to a chain pharmacy you HAVE to start going here! They are nice and pleasant no long waiting times. The pharmacy is very personable and takes time to talk to you and answer all of your questions. I only wish I would have started using Hartwell Drugs years...
Read moreTammy who answers the phone… I would put her down for zero on customer service. I would put her down as a 1 though on communication skills on the phone. However that is only if the scale went from 0-1000. Management please inform Tammy or anyone else that hangs up while a customer is talking that’s not good...
