I have asthma, I have all of my life. This establishment does not let you know when refills are getting low or have expired until you call to attempt to refill your prescription, in my case for literally breathing.
I called 9/3 to attempt a refill and was advised that they needed doctor authorization. I spoke to Allina, and I was told I had refills available, 11 to be exact.
I called Walgreens back on 9/4 and they told me they didn’t see the refills but I could pick up “an emergency refill” - I spoke to Vanessa. I told her I would arrive around 6, she told me she was off at 5 and I even confirmed with her I wouldn’t have an issue getting the inhaler.
I attempted to pick it up and was looked at as if I was a liar, because “we don’t do that for inhalers” and the staff on-sure was a total jerks about it. I felt super embarrassed and was made to feel like I did something wrong, when Vanessa told me to pick up an emergency refill.
This was my last straw with Walgreens altogether. The service is terrible, they treat you like garbage, misinform you, and again, I need this medication to BREATHE and don’t have time...
Read moreAFTER spending $$ at the register up front, my husband had asked to use the bathroom. It was after 6, but we didn't realize or see a sign that bathrooms were off limits after a certain time for paying customers. Anyways, the lady up front had told my husband to wait in the back by the bathroom sign, and someone else would come unlock it for him. After waiting 15 min. No one had showed up so i went up front again to ask. Again we were told to wait. Someone finally shows up... to stand at the middle register, ignoring us. I had to ask and was RUDELY told bathroom is closed after 6. I tried to say we were told to wait, and before I could say that she interrupted me saying VERY loudly in front of other customers that she was the manager and she said NO. Treating us like we'd been wandering around aimlessly off the street not buying anything. Why treat someone, besides a paying customer this way? Needless to say we'll never step foot in this store again. The CVS down the street were more than...
Read moreI have been waiting for a prescription to be filled for over a week. I called this morning, Friday, June 16, 2023 to ask about the status of the prescription and was told that it would arrive today. I didn't receive a text message to notify me that the prescription was filled, so I called again a few hours before close. This time I was told they don't have it for me and their supplier is out of stock, meaning they have no idea if or when it will arrive. At this point, it's after 5 pm, so after waiting over a week, I will have to wait until at least Monday to see if my doctor can send it somewhere else. Which is why I called to check on the status this morning. I asked about the process to notify a patient if they would be waiting for their medication indefinitely, and there is no process. This pharmacy is a fine choice for anything you don't mind living without or starting whenever, but I wouldn't recommend trusting them with anything you need to...
