They made a mistake on a sale today. They did not give a discount on this week's white tag sale and paid with card. When we went home when notice that the total signed for did not add up. There were no discounts and they did not give us the receipt. The sale was for $38 dollars and with discounts would have been $24. We called the store and explained the problem and that were in the store 1 hour prior and who check us out. The Girl who checked us out even new us as a frequent customers and asked us about our handycap dog. The girl was nice but gave the phone to the evening manager and he cam acrross rude. We explained the we were not given a receipt but had all the items and the tags from the same day recent sale, he said there is nothing he could do. I explained again they did not give a receipt in the could check the till receipt duplicate side. He hug up on me. I tried to call back and they did not answer the phone. While I was in the store other time I've heard him on the phone before and be short to a customer. He also hug up and a heard the phone ring without answering it. We shop the store frequently and one time even pointed out to the same Manger about a mistag on and item and wrong sizes. I was not purchasing it but thought someone else my buy something that was not as stated. Thw Manger said thanks and walked off. I later seen him place the item on the rack. I was curious so I looked at it and it was still wrong. He didn't fix it even after he agreed it was wrong. I was a store manager for many year we an excellent sales record and customer service. We also did great with secret shops. I would never hang up on anyone or be rude. I would be simpatheric with the customer and try help them the best I could. This a religious store????
Very disappointed a disturbed that people are like that and worst in a religious store.
Note: The other store employees...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve always been a fan of Sal Army, and what they stand for (helping the community and giving to those less fortunate etc). And I will still support Sal Army, but this location made me re think that, when one day I decided to come in to check out the sale they had going on 50% off store wide all clothing. When I first walked in I asked the cashier if the sale was indeed 50% off store wide, and she said yes thatās correct. But then I hear her mumble āyeah if you can find anything good leftā followed by a small laugh, I didnāt think anything of it. But then when I was checking out, she had the nerve to ask to see inside my purse, and didnāt ask anyone else (other women who had purses who had been shopping in the store at the same time I was) to check their purses. I was completely offended because why would I steal from a thrift store (everything is either used or broken that they try to sell to make money off of!!!!) this is the same lady who saw me come in and I asked about the store wide sale in the beginning. Her response was āoh I didnāt see you come in wearing a purseā thatās why I had to check. Um no you didnāt youāre just profiling me because you think Iām cheap or poor and canāt afford to even shop at a thrift store. Which my total ended up being $22 originally $44 but they had the 50% off store wide sale going on. And the cashier while she was checking me out just kept talking and talking to try to make the situation seem lighter or lesser than it was because they had to ask to see into my purse when itās like I donāt wanna hear anything you have to say youāve offended me as a customer, I am a paying customer, but no longer will I come to this place of business to give them my money so they can accuse me of stealing from a thrift store. Poor customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNumber 1: These prices are through the roof. I came here to get a nice pair of jeans, $20. (Used pair of jeans) Who pays $20 for a used pair of jeans. Number 2: Not well organized whatsoever. I had to push stuff out of the way just so I could look at a pair of pants. And donāt even get me started on Jill H. I come up to the cash register with 2 t shirts, thatās all. One t shirt with a half off price tag, and one with a price tag with no price. I asked Jill, āHey, could I still buy this even though there is no price?ā She responds with āOf course, is 6.99 good?ā !!! Mind you this shirt is not as a good of a brand as the half off one (2.00) Who pays $6.99 for a busted up t shirt from salvation army. Number 3: Menās equality. Jill H does not support menās equality. The lady before me got her pink and yellow tags half off. When it was my turn to go up to the register, not only did I get an overpriced busted up t shirt, I also did not get my pink tag half off while everyone else did (they were all women) Iām not only disappointed, Iām furious. You could have done better and you should have done better Jill H. I just hope the other men out there donāt get the same treatment...
