Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Hastings

I went through the drive through this evening and ordered two items. When I pulled around to the window to pay and get my food, I was given one item that I did not order. I politely said that the order was incorrect. The girl working the drive-thru proceeded to roll her eyes, grab the incorrect item and slam the window shut. She returned with the correct order for my first item, then handed me my second item, also incorrect. Again, I very politely said that it was incorrect. This time, she argued with me and said it was what I asked for, rolled her eyes again and closed the window and walked away. This is a location that I have attended frequently in the past and have not had an issue until now. Honestly, after this experience, if I could rate this location zero stars, I would. Drive the extra five miles to Prescott and spare yourself from spending $10 for something you didn't order, from a high schooler with a bad attitude that can't follow simple...

I was worried about getting a cake for my daughter’s birthday, since everything seems to be closing. I called ahead and they were very happy to help. Great service! My daughter (8 y/o) loved the design/style and, of course, the ice cream cake. They were grateful for our business and did an amazing job; actual effort was put into it. It didn’t seem like some ‘premade design’

In these hard times, I think it’s important to help when, and where, we can with the small business owners. Especially in our small great Hastings Community. I hope people will continue to support this location. I would hate for it to not be around when things get back to ‘normal.’ Plus, who wouldn’t enjoy a nice car ride, just to get out and get...

Best DQ I have ever been to, by far. Items are always incredible and as described - when you ask for extra "stuff" in your blizzard, they go all out! I love going during the week in the early AM hours as I believe it's a manager/owner that usually works the window then & he is incredibly kind and friendly. Also, most DQs locally open around 11am whereas this location opens by 10am, which is fantastic! The drive thru/parking lot set up is kind of cramped & there isn't an option to go inside which is a bummer, but this is through no fault of the owners as the lot is very small - I still find this DQ to be one of the best in the state....
