Lawrence Interiors — Local services in Hastings

I could never in good conscience reccomend Lawrence interiors to anybody. They took 2 months to do my bathroom floor. My ONLY bathroom. Our subfloor needed to come out due to some water damage. Lawrence said they would take care of all the subcontracting. After waiting 3 weeks for the materials to arrive the installer showed up and asked if he was just laying the new material over the old material. I said no the subfloor needs to be done too and he said "oh I don't do that" and left. We got double billed for both subcontractors. Lawrence would only give us a refund for the flooring contractor, not the plumber. So we paid for plumbing work twice. When I asked Matt to explain this he said it was because the toilet had to come off twice. If Gretchen had the ability to coordinate, the toilet would have only had to come off one time. When the job was "done" I noticed a soft spot in the flooring that was just laid. When I asked Matt about this I was told A: my house is too old to have even floors. B: He said he could hit it a few times with a rubber mallet. C: I need to be reasonable. I would reccomend saving yourself the headache and going with a different flooring company. We had a great experience with Lawrence Interiors. Matt was very knowledgeable, personable, and easy to work with. He was accomodating to our very busy schedules. We chose Lawrence after looking at several different companies and nobody else came close to the service we recieved from Lawrence. They are not pushy and listen to what you want. The installation crews were clean and did a great job. The carpeting job was a large one (our entire basement) and they were quick to get it completed. The carpet is high quality as is the padding underneath. Matt went above and beyond to order us a larger swatch to ensure we were happy with the color we chose. We couldn't be more happy with the service and product we received. I would highly recommend you contacting Lawrence for any flooring needs. If you are looking for some home remodeling or just some improvements to your home or business, I can’t recommend Lawrence Interiors enough! From the minute we walked through the front doors the staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. They walked us through our options and told us the pros and cons to our selections. Made it super comfortable and “almost” relaxing. Then came the construction process. Matt and his crew were super informative throughout the entire process and made sure we were happy and understood everything that was happening and what the next steps were. Home improvements/renovations can be an intimidating and overwhelming task but I can say that having Lawrence Interiors was the best choice we made.
