TLDR: Jovanna is great, thanks so much for the help. Faith Snavely needs to be retrained, she literally has zero customer service skills.
Called and asked if I could come close to closing to pick up my jewelry repair. I said I would be there around 6:40. (I got there a few minutes earlier than that) I had to drive around 40 minutes to this store. I was told by the associate (Faith) that that was fine. When I got to the jewelry counter, Faith seemed very nonchalant, tired, almost like she couldn’t care less. I was under the impression that I would be receiving my repaired earrings because I received a voicemail from JCPenney that said “My repair was ready”. I was informed by Faith that that was not the case, “and I signed a buyback option.” I know what I signed, I was just a bit confused that I was doing a buyback and not getting my earrings like the voicemail had suggested. I asked her if I was getting store credit or the money returned to my card because I could not remember their policy. I was rudely told by Faith that “we are getting to that part”. I started to look around to see what I would like to use my credit/ money back on. Faith had trouble processing the buyback so she had to ask for help. After that she handed me a piece of paper that said “refund denied”. And she told me “Yeah, you are just going to have to come back tomorrow when the manager is here.” This was very unfortunate since this was the only reason I made the trip there. If Faith is not trained well in the jewelry department, I would have appreciated her tell me that when I called so I would have not wasted my time.
Today I called the store and was helped by Jovanna. I was told that the manager wasn’t going to be here today. Thankfully she found my paperwork after it wasn’t put back in the correct spot(thanks to Faith🙄). I’m still giving a 1 star because I still have to drive all the way to this store again. I would not recommend you buy the jewelry here. It’s not worth the frustration. Go to Hills Jewelers in laurel instead. They are one of their employees sitting in a chair playing on her phone and the other was cutting a guys hair. I went to the Store Manger and told her what had happened and I got a Appointment for 2 PM. I wished I had went someone where else because she made a mess out of my hair. It's will take months now for my hair to grow back after she shaved it all off. I DID NOT tell her to cut all of my hair off in the back of my head and leave it long just at the top.
