We were walking along the shoreline and decided to snorkle near the underwater cave in the cove. Security staff came out and told us we were trespassing and made us leave. We were on a rock practically surrounded by water and had to jump over the water to leave, we never even touched their private/not private beach.
Beaches are public in Hawaii. Someone should file a lawsuit against these people, we weren't there to cause any problems and we're greeted with hostility. I also have a video of the whole incident.
I feel bad for the kids, and that they are teaching them a sense of entitlement. Guess they don't have school on Thursday?
