Panda Express — Restaurant in Hawaii

We ate at this Panda Express twice while in the Big Island. The service was average. Food quality was on par. You can order any item to be freshly made like I did with the egg plant and tofu as little was left.

I also like that the to-go container was potfirated so that you can spilt it into two plates for sharing. The dine in area is quite spacious and there were a few tables for outdoor dining. It is also nice that they give out courtesy water since we are not soda drinkers.

One improvement I have is the consistency of amount of food given. Right now it is very subjective according to the person who is serving. I noticed she gave some customers more noodles than others. My noodles turned out to be mostly cabbage with few noodles.

The sign posted by the cashier helped me save 25% of the entire order by downloading the Panda Express app and becoming a reward member during our second visit That was a nice bonus.

Panda Express is my typical fall back if I cannot find authentic Chinese food nearby. This one doesn't disappoint

The food wasn't as good as before. It was much too oilly. Plus the extra priced beef wasn't nearly as good as the beef pieces a year ago for sure! It was disappointing to say the least. My wife got bathroom sick from eating it! Now, we won't be going back again. We used to love going here. Where else are we going to have Chinese food in Kona?

It was good to be back in Kona and have a good priced Chinese food here. They are located in the Kona Commons Shopping Center. There was plenty of food for us to share. We recommend getting a take out box to share while eating here. Maybe you will get bigger portions. Who knows.

We enjoy their food here. Just stand in line and pick out what you want. Angus Pepper steak, Tofu Eggplant which is so soft and tasty, chicken eggs plenty of chicken and hot and many more to choose from. Good price...

I ordered half rice half lo-mein, orange chicken and honey chicken. I was sitting in my car and a took a couple bites. The food tasted ransed. The noodles were also very hard. I decided to go back in and ask for a refund, which they gave me. When I got home I ended up with food poisoning. Three years ago the same thing happened but I decided to give them another chance. Seems like they want to serve old food so they don't have to throw it away. In addition to getting sick, the inside of the restaurant was very dirty . The cashier was rude especially when she asked if I wanted to round up my order for children and I said no.
