Everything Here is fine, they just allow sick people to move about, coughing and sneezing on everything and each other and this is something that after covid, should absolutely not be condoned or allowed.
I saw two people in the store, they clearly came by car, one was obnoxiously sick, the other was okay..... they one that was okay could have clearly left the sick adult woman in the car but I guess they think its a good idea out here to bring the sick where the sickness can spread more.
I never seen such a sunny and nice place where sickness is just so unchecked and runs rampant without anyone having offense to it.
Everyone thinks it's okay and it's LIKE as tho their misery needs company in sickness. If they got sick, then according to them, you need to be sick with them.
If we can stop certain diseases by avoiding those contaminated then those who are sick need to stay in their cars and let someone else go inside or stay home. No one wants your sickness. You people need to be told about yourselves. Sheesh.
Just think about it, how can I catch sickness if whereever I go, no one is sick?
After covid, this allowing people to just walk around unchecked with sickness like it's normal is not okay. Someone needs to add extra measures on who is allowed in these stores, no matter...
Read moreWe stopped in to grab some snacks, beverages, and alcohol before checking in to our hotel in Keauhou as this was on the way, and there are no sundry stores in that area that I know of.
This is the Big Island's first Target store, located in the Kona Commons mall (the second store is in Hilo). There's lots of parking as they're located across the street from the main mall by themselves and with their own parking lot.
Comparing this store to the one on Maui, I can say that the inventory here seemed more plentiful and better stocked, something that's becoming a problem at the Maui location, unfortunately. They offer similar services like a pharmacy, Starbucks, and food counter, which I think was Pizza Hut. The store was not crowded, and was clean overall. I think it may even be a bit larger than ours. The only downfall with all Target stores for me personally is that they don't carry gardening supplies.
Cashier lines moved quickly and they offer self-checkouts as well.
TIP: Bring your own bags unless you want to pay for reusable ones, or hand carry your goods out the door. The Big Island was the third island to ban plastic bags at retail stores, following Maui and Kauai.
OVERALL: Conveniently located near the airport, Kailua-Kona, and the...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience. After working for Washingtonn Targets as a PML/ team member for 7 years, front end need work. Came in for the first time in Hawaii, visiting, as me and my significant other were checking out, he had put his items back in the hand basket as Guest lane #1 front end team member gave us no choice for a bag. Even after we both checked different items and then was scolded that we couldn't "take the hand basket out , put it in a cart." I asked after being checked out about bags and was refereed to "$1" per after. Asking for front end team lead, I explained the simple consequence of this team member not being interactive and asked the lead " is there any in-difference of Hawii vs Washington (where I have worked) on bags? I was told "NO" then continued within the communication of " yes we have a bag policy, did you see it everywhere???" Which no, I didn't, as a paying questioning guest. Then I went to front of store to see stickers and precautions of expectation of store policy and did not see it anywhere. I mistakenly should have had/ requested the store Director. Horrible for the...
