Marshalls — Local services in Hemlock Township

The employees at this Marshall’s are always very helpful and friendly. I’ve had some very nice conversations with cashiers. The selection is also really good, especially during the holiday season. They rotate stock really well and there’s always something new. The idea is to go in here with one thing you need and then come out with a cat scratcher shaped like a tent and a desk golf kit (I do this every single time). They always have interesting sauces and food items and great deals (found a record player and wooden case for only $50!). The only issue I have is that there really isn’t much as for large women’s clothes. I don’t even mean plus size section, I mean like XLs and larges. They’re pretty hard to find but I don’t blame the employees for this. It just sucks because Bloomsburg isn’t a great area to find clothes at all. I like Marshalls for the versatile nature of the products they carry. From soup to nuts, literally. That being said, it's the store layout that seems to need an overhaul. I went to pick up a bottle of nail polish, which quite frankly could have bought at the Walmart right next door. I was trying to avoid Walmart crowds and long lines. So I went to where its normally kept. Nothing. I was told by associate that it was in the area where you wait in line to check out. As I was browsing, I was clearly in the way of ppl checking out.I get they put items in that area to get ppl to impulse buy seasonal things they might not necessarily purchase.But isnt nail polish something that is a staple in most ladies lives? Maybe create a place for it in makeup or fragrance area possibly? Ladies, plz give a thumbs up if you agree with...

It's hit or miss with this place, so etimes I find good deals in my size other times can't find anything. I wish they had more sizes of the same item, seems like they get a few of each item and it just depends if you are lucky enough to find it and fit into it... everything is sorted by size except for a few end displays so if you see something you like but need a different size you have to go searching for it throughout all the racks. Their non clothing items seem a little overpriced, but a good place to find unique decorative things or gift sets you may not find elsewhere. Overall, not any cheaper than buying from another store but I know some people like the extra hunt and possibility of findi ng something in there they love. I tend to be an in and out shopper, so I'd rather be able to see what is offered...
