When the doors of an establishment are open, it is or should be a mutual understanding of Service.
Is it normal to have a cash register that is open... unstaffed? Is it okay for not one staffer to greet you and if they are busy,, ask for a minute before taking your order? I watched staff look at me and never acknowledge me inspiteof there being a large green sign on the service side that gives step-by-step instructions on front office management of cashiering. I stood in awe for over five minutes and then asked if there was anyone to the order? No verbal response, no physical overture, no movement to resolve. Stunned, and possibly thinking I may not have been heard, I raised my voice and said "Excuse Me" two times...still no response. My third time was now a frustrated and annoyed, " Excuse Me...is there anyone here to take an order?". Finally, a man who has been working the immediate area behind the registers, who I had been looking at pull things out of the stainless steel canisters and make several trips hand- walking them to another area (possibly the garbage) who had seen me when walking, finally answers, "that's me". With a three-hour ride ahead of me, I tucked in my feelings and placed the order of a Fill-Up Box. While waiting for the salty-prepared chicken, some dried out parts, another staffer comes past and warmly greets.
So...it is possible to be polite and customer-service focused, there was just a choice not to be! And to add to injury of the horrible food, and disgusting service, I left my sunglasses accidentally on the...
Read moreThis place is usually great and I’m not sure if this happened because of the time but, this KFC location used to NEVER disappoint me until today. I ordered one number 5 and one number 6 meals. We collected our bag of items and left. We stopped by Walmart only a few minutes away from it. I checked my bag and they were missing one of my meals and I had to drive back to go see if they could get me a new one. Note: I went there at 6:50 and they closed at 7:00. I told them about it and the service was very poor. They only gave me a refund for that meal and said that they didn’t have anymore since they were about to close. I get it, your running out of stuff. But you should’ve known that I ordered this. If there was a problem then why didn’t you just tell us instead of not adding into our bag? At this point because of the inconvenience they should’ve just given me a full refund. Very disappointed in this place. The chicken was wet and was barley crispy. The fries were overly salted and I had to stop by Burger King, that is beside KFC, and order something for my brother. KFC definitely had better service. I’m sick to my stomach right now to the meal I got at this KFC location. Probably not going back for a...
Read moreThis was not a visit for "fast food". Visited around 8:15PM, thinking I could grab a quick meal and get back on the road. Not the case, waited a few minutes for someone to take my order, 2 wraps and 4 piece tenders to go. Okay, paid, and then waited at least 15 minutes to get my order. Got out to my car and found the tenders were actually 4 pieces of chicken. Didn't want to go back in, didn't need another 15 minute wait to get tenders. The people were nice, apologetic when the order was handed to me about the wait, but a KFC should have some chicken available to quickly fill an order. I wasn't the only one with a long wait, including some delivery service drivers... Gotta do better, especially when you are right next to a busy interstate highway. Nice restaurant, clean. Maybe I just stopped at a bad time, but I won't stop there again. ...
