One thing I can say is the customer service is less to be desired at the store. Maybe it's because I differ in... opinion but I just feel like when you come into a store you should feel welcome. one thing I can say the young man up front who is spraying down the cards is doing one hell of a job. I like the fact that the store puts on this illusion that they're keeping things as clean as possible when denying the reality that we live in a world full of billions of germs so it's just impossible but I do appreciate the effort on that regard when it comes to the selection bar none there is nothing that this store does not have I even found a bottle of Lewis Martini that I was purchasing back in Virginia for $17 at the 7-Eleven which is a gas station and to come here and see it for $40 just made me realize exactly where I was and why I am in the wrong business apparently. When it comes to my wine I will be ordering that from vino when it comes to a few groceries I will be coming back to your meets and seafood department because the gentleman with the laughing mask I did not catch his name but he is a absolute treasure at that store he should be promoted and he definitely made me feel welcome in a store that honestly does not cater to my demographic, due to the fact that I am worldly in my parents have traveled and taking me places I know quality this store has quality products and services but as far as the people go I mean it's a grocery store for some reason the hiring pool for grocery stores hasn't changed for years and years and years so you're going to get the same teenage attitudes and snarky remarks but for now this is the grocery store that will continue to go to, thank you everyone so much for your customer service that you provide that this post is not pertained to and to those in management please address accordingly thank...
Read moreI was with my husband at Hemphield Giant Eagle in Greensburg, PA on 1/2/21. His mask was below his nose and he was confronted by a butcher. My husband is hard of hearing and at first didn't realize that he was being talked to. The butcher kept following him and yelling at him. My husband explained that he has breathing problems and that he can wear it over his mouth but not over his nose. He was later confronted by another employee shouting the same thing. At the register, he was contronted by another employee who was telling him that if he didn't pull the mask over his nose, he would not be able to purchase anything. My husband left the store and I paid for the items. I felt threathened and fearful as all these employees followed us around the store, yelling at him. When I got home, I called a female manger to tell her my concerns. She said she was well aware of the incident because she too was following us around (we weren't aware of this)....so we were stocked and harassed by 4 employees because my husband didn't have the mask over his nose due to medical conditions he has. We will no longer be customers at Giant Eagle or Get Go. We have been customers for over 20 years and buy all our gas at Get Go. I can not be a returning customer after this treatment. I was told by the manager that even if a person has a medical excuse from a doctor they will be asked to leave the store if they don't wear a mask. Read moreI’m so so disappointed in the bakery on Monday 8/5/24. I always bought all my cakes here-my sons bday cakes my fathers my mothers my brothers and my significant others. No longer will I be a customer unfortunately but I’m leaving to review in hopes that u guys correct this so no one experiences the anxiety disappointment and anger and disrespect that I felt. On the 4th I ordered a cake for my son’s 3rd birthday. They wrote 2nd. They checked the paper work and I did order correctly. They just made a mistake. Xavier turned 3 on the 6th. I told them to please fix it Xavier’s bday isn’t until the 6th I could pick up at 1 on the 6th aka very next day even a 24 hour period gap. They told me no they won’t redo it but what they would do is scrape the PRINTED 2nd and WRITE 3rd….. my son will always have nothing but perfect I chuckled and was like really? They said ya like I’m suppose to just deal with that…. I said am I getting a discount? They looked at me like I was nuts. I said it again they said yes. I said ok…. A few minutes go by and I decide this is not ok… they are disrespecting my son at this point. Idc if he’s going to remember his cake being wrong or not, I’m going to remember I didn’t give him perfection. I went to shop n save instead and they did perfect… even explained what happened and they promise if something like that would happen they would fix it correctly… im disappointed and will not return.
