Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Hempfield Township

Do NOT order takeout. I repeat do NOT order takeout. I ordered chicken critters and steak fries for my daughter, along with 3 steak dinners for my family. We realized AFTER driving all the way home that they forgot to place the steak fries in the order! This was the ONLY thing my daughter wanted to eat. I waited at home with a screaming crying hungry 4 year old, while my husband drove to Wendy's, because it was closer. (Wendy's actually has better french fries anyway) We ate cold steak.

I ordered three loaded baked potatoes. They only gave us enough butter for two potatoes. No big deal. We have butter at home.

The last time we ordered takeout, they forgot to give us their famous butter. The rolls were dry. Honestly, the steak isn't even that great.

To add insult to injury, I was unable to do pay with our gift card online, since the total order exceeded the gift card amount. Apparently, the app doesn't understand how to process two forms of payment on a singular order. I simply paid online using my debit card thinking, the restaurant would credit the gift card amount to my debit card when presented. Nope. They wouldn't do that either.

But hey, they do seat and feed you quickly when you choose to dine in restaurant. As fast as they serve you, they push you out the door. You're reminded to "pay now" by the electronic nuisance situated at the end of every table. Somehow, this is supposed to be convenient for the customer. I beg to differ.

It's obvious upper management cares only about quantity rather than quality. I will be taking my business elsewhere. May I suggest Rodney's Restaurant in Irwin.

Absolutely the WORST restaurant experience that I have ever had. I worked in a restaurant for 8 years and I've never seen such poor communication between the staff. My husband wanted to take me out to dinner because I got promoted at work. He let me pick and I chose Texas roadhouse. So I joined the wait list and my email said to arrive at 5 18. We got there at 5 15 and asked the hostess if our spot was in the list just to make sure I didn't do anything wrong on my part. She said we were there and it would be another 15 or 20 minutes. So we said thank you and walked around petco while we waited for our confirmation text. 30 minutes and still no text. So we walked back over and talk to the same girl again and another hostess said we had to text a number to receive a text? I never had to do that before? Another hostess over heard and said that she would get us a table and told us to wait in the on deck station. We waited there for 25 minutes till the girl that was seating people asked us for our name and checked with the hostess to see where we were in the line. When she came back she said that we weren't paged in yet so we couldn't stand there and asked us to wait outside. We just said okay and left to go eat at hoss's. Which was fantastic and just as busy and we we're seated within 5 minutes. We have decided we will never eat at another texas roadhouse again. We'd rather take our money to hoss's. Still waiting for that confirmation text 4 days later. And dont bother with the automated response texas roadhouse. We know you dont...

Worst server I have ever had at the Texas Roadhouse. The people near us thought she was racist but I can tell you. Being a white couple she wasn’t racist. She was just a horrible waitress that should look for a new line of work. A woman came around and asked how everything was and I asked for some extra bbq sauce only to pretty much be ignored. We only seen our waitress again when she dropped of our check and left. I can say I never in all the years going here had such a horrible experience at a Texas Road house. For the price I shouldn’t receive service that McDs would be proud of. I shouldn’t have received dried out food that was mostly left behind. I shouldn’t have been asked if they could get me anything and then just ignored. I shouldn’t or anyone else should only see their waitress three times as she avoided the entire area. What a waste of my hard earned money. Not that anyone here cares. Me not coming back isn’t going to hurt the crowds this place gets. But you sure know how to ruin a persons Anniversary dinner. And let me tell you. The lack of attention and caring of the server wrecked a lot more than just my evening. I don’t think their was anyone not bitching about the server that had her. One pathetic attempt by one person can effect so many without any care about what they put the customer thru this Saturday night.
