They bombarded me with text messages and phone calls reminding me about my 3:15 class today and to arrive 20 minutes early.. I arrive 30 minutes early and they didnt even let me in to change, so I come in 20 minutes early as they asked and while I was in he bathroom changing, around 3:06 they knock on the bathroom door asking me if I'll be ready. I tell them "yes I'll be out in 3" but they said "I'm sorry Patricia but we start the class in 5 minutes" (actually it started in 8 minutes to be exact since they seem to be time freaks for being just a free class). I said "Isn't 3 minutes before the 5 minute mark?" Then they said "When would you like to reschedule ". I said "There is no equipment needed for a cardio workout & I was 30 minutes early and you didnt even let me in when your lobby is obviously open, I wanted ti change to be ready". I got so frustrated, I just walked out without saying anything and told them that I was out and that they just lost a customer with how unprofessional and overbearing they were being.
That's not the way to go about when trying to recruit new customers .
If your not a time freak or okay with people pestering you then this gym...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI first started Orangetheory a few months after starting school at Touro when my friend brought me along to try a class.
I thought I was going to die during that first class BUT then I didn't- and it was the BEST feeling. Almost 2 years later, I have continued to incorporate Orangetheory into my morning routine. The classes are challenging and different each day and going regularly has increased my physical and mental endurance. Kickstarting my day with Orangetheory makes me feel ready to conquer 12+ hour days at school in class and studying. It has definitely been an integral part of getting me through school every day the past couple of years.
Last but not least, the coaches and staff at Orangetheory LVE are amazing and they always make you feel welcome. They really take the time to get your name and push you to do better everyday. This really sets OTF LVE apart from other gyms that I've been a part of in the past. I'm incredibly happy that I was able to find something that is so good for me and that I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove that I only have to show up to class and do what I am told and get a great workout! They have several types of classes depending on personal preferences, and some members show up and don't follow the class and end up doing their own thing which is puzzling to me but i guess that speaks volumes to how much fun it is to come here. Mostly cardio and circuit based. All the exercises are adaptable and can be modified for joint/mobility issues. Head coach Melissa is amzing and you can tell she loves her job, as well as Rocky, Sydni. Front desk (who make the effort to be friendly and call you by name!) like Ally and Solome and the others (sorry I don't know all their names) are always friendly and outgoing. The Manager Hannah is probably the reason everyone is so friendly and outgoing as she leads by example and is always helpful, professional, takes the classes herself, and keeps the place clean and organized. Love...
