04/21/21 Update Got off work 9:10pm. Picked up my wife and arrived at 9:31pm. Three tables totaling 10 people still eating. Closing time is at 10pm. It doesn't take long to eat a ramen especially when I'm hungry and in the mood. The cashier/host/waiter brushed us off while telling us take out only. He didn't even had the decency to walk 20 ft. from the register (that he's counting) to walk to us to let us know. Just talked us from the distance while counting his change. Thank you for brushing us off 30min before "closing time". I wish I could've done that when I used to work in the restaurant business.
06/20/20 Update Owners and workers of this joint. It is not a pleasant evening when you're playing vulgar music during dinner. There was a five years old eating with us. "Bull$#!+" is not a lyrics I want the kids to hear. It ruined the dinner for me. Telling me that you don't understand English to an Asian customer while playing vulgar English music is not an excuse. I could curse at you with three Asian language and two European language. You should know what you're playing.
First Visit Bright with nice Japanese style artwork. Light colored wood furniture bring a brighter ambience with a touch of modern lighting. The seating is comfortable and the bar area is open and inviting. We came here for the first time. since their opening a few days ago. Please note that there will be some bias comment since I do have a favorite location up in Chinatown. First of all, it's hard to pass on a menu with ramen under $10. The menu option were all pleasing in the eye as well as my mouth. We tried the dumplings and takoyaki. The quantity is abundant but the flavor it neither jumping nor lacking. I typically expect the takoyaki to burn my tongue but this was warm. It feels like it was prepared ahead of time. I will boast the Japanese style mayo they include. Most of my takoyaki experience tend to abhor the regular mayo they layer on this food. Michi made amends to that problem. On the main part: THE RAMEN. Thin round noodles, thick broth, with lot's of topping. The only thing that lowers the value is the lack of nori (seaweed). The flavor is adequate that you end up asking for more noodles. I did go in more hungry than usual. My wife ordered the lighter Chicken shoyu (soy sauce). She enjoyed the flavor that had a touch of ginger in the broth. It's something that is going to be ordered a lot during Winter season. We also tried the mini Chasu Pork bowl. The flavor didn't stand out to me but they include more toppings than the other places we go to. It makes it a good food but not grand. Their Tonkotsu Ramen won us over. Typically my children doesn't like the thick broth. This has won them over and made it the official PRIMARY ramen joint here in Henderson. There are others but we have voted on the first visit that this will be that main place. Again we are still biased to a specific one that's further away. We're happy that this place is a nice nearby option for us. (Sorry for the lack of photos. I wanted to enjoy the food first. Next time I'll...

Michi Ambiance & Service: This is a small mom and pop ramen House which has their seating arrangement setup optimally. The open kitchen houses an L shape bar for single diners. They have mobile tables and chairs in case they need to push them together for bigger parties. Extremely friendly service and the kitchen gets your ramen to you quickly. Everyone works with a sense of urgency, I dig it.
Michi Ramen: I had the Tonkotsu Ramen, added extra chasu (because I'm extra) and everything was done well. The broth was full of flavor and the noodles were fresh. You get a very generous serving of noodles and I was stoked to see a half egg in there at the price. Also, the chasu was tasty, big in size and an extra 3 pieces was only $2.00. Fantastic..
$10.50 got me a very good ramen bowl that can compete with all the casual ramen houses on Spring Mountain for a cheaper price. The fact that they're open on this side of town is such a win for me they have become my new go to for Ramen when I'm at home. I'll check out their rice bowls in future visits, but that's another tale....
Read moreThis place is the epitome of “hole in the wall” and I mean that in all the best ways. Stopped by for some lunch and were seated right away. The location is in a strip mall and doesn’t give away much from the outside. Once inside it has a very nice cozy vibe and appeared to be very clean and maintained.
My group ordered a few different types on ramen and I the Spicy Ramen. (This is on a scale of 4, Mild, Medium, Hot and Fire). I also ordered a Diet Coke and in traditional hole in the wall fashion was delivered a cup with ice and can of Diet Coke.
The food arrived and smelled delicious but I noticed something interesting in mine…ground beef? I’m honestly not sure if it was or was not ground beef, even though it did look like meat that should be in a taco shell, but I thought I would give it a try regardless.
Very tasty ramen but I got the “Spicy” ramen and asked for it to be “medium” heat just to see what that meant to them… Apparently medium is what I would consider mild at best. Tiny let down there but overall the ramen was good. And that includes the ground beef, haha. Long story short this has not taken over as my “go to” ramen spot but it’s a great filler when...
