Ordered my drink thru drive through, original drink made not as ordered (missing caramel). No big deal right.. Employee remakes, a waste in my opinion but nice gesture. When he handed me the drink, it felt really light, but my phone was ringing so I drove off and parked to talk on phone. Sat there 3 to 5 minutes grabbed my drink and the venti cup is 1/2 full now without taking one sip. I thought it had a hole in it but after looking at it closer it was basically foam down to a 1/4 of the cup with about 5 cubes of ice in it. Becauseeing I pay almost 6.00 for my DAILY coffee habit, I parked and went in. . . First contact, I explained the problem. She said well the drink is crafted a certain way and there is foam. DA the drink is shaken by recipe but it varies by the barista whether it is shaken or not. Really makes no difference to me if there is a LITTLE foam on top. The original drink they gave me was not shaken because the syrup and espresso were on the bottom and milk on top. So she hands it off to someone else after asking me what I wanted her to do, my reply remake it and put the correct measurements of ingredients ie put more than 6 cubes of ice and don't to shake it to hell and back. But of course this guy starts reciting the Starbucks recipe procedure and that foam is avoidable bla bla bla with a sarcastic undertone. He says I will remake it, how many pumps of mocha did you want again. MOCHA, the drink is a Starbucks double shot, basically looks like a macchiato. I said does that drink even remotely look like it has mocha in it. He said oh I didn't know what you ordered, but just seconds before he is telling me how the drink is made to justify 3/4 of the cup to be foam. He said in order to have no foam I have to make the drink not as designed, really. The first one made was shaken, where was that disclaimer. Bottom line, didn't appreciate the argumentative undertone and the BS etc. Thank goodness I don't frequent this location because this is the last time I come here. Here is a tip to this store, your customers pay a high price for our drinks and believe me we know how they are made and when the drink is not right, we know it. You don't need to give us a crash course on making the drinks to detour from the fact that the barista at the drive through doesn't know how to make a drink properly. You just frustrate us more, just remake the drink according to the recipe unless the customer ordered it a certain way. And to make matters worse, my drink was still incorrect. But all I wanted to do was get the hell out of there... Good luck Henderson...
Read moreThis Starbucks is garbage! I didn't even order. I turned around and left, but not before saying it was stupid. That was last September. I haven't been back.
Starbucks seems to be trying to keep up with Dutch Bros or something. Starbucks originally became popular not because of its coffee but because it was a "third space" for people. The coffee shop music, comfy chairs, and cozy vibe all made Starbucks desirable. People stayed for hours because of the vibe.
Now, Starbucks is implementing changes to make the atmosphere in its shops less comfortable so people will spend less time inside the shop. Everything from removing seating and extending the coffee bar and counter to the loud, upbeat music and hard loud chairs is part of a strategy. Instead of hanging out for hours, they want patrons to use the drive-thru or order something and leave.
I used to visit this specific location because it had the comfy coffee shop vibe. They closed to "remodel" (remove the sitting area), and I stopped in to see the new shop when it reopened. It had a standard fast food counter for you to place your order and bar-height tables for you to stand and wait for your drink. If you wanted to "hang out" and sit to enjoy your drink and/or food, you had to go outside. That's a...
Read moreAbsolutely hopeless staff member, âZachâ spends more time spiffing his hair up in the mornings, than he does tending properly to customers.
Ordered two cinnamon shortbread coffees, and at 2.30pm, theyâre all out. How does Starbucks run out of flavoring? Arenât they in that business of making coffees?
Anyway, good olâ Zach just laughs that theyâre out of it and I have to pick another pair of coffees that I really didnât want. No discount, no sorry, just a laugh from good olâ Zach.
Also ordered a Panini and when it was cooked, Zach threw it onto the coffee delivery bench straight into all the spilt milk and spilt whatever, and probably went off to perfect his hair again. I spat it. Had another one cooked and handed to me, as still, nobody had bothered to clean the mess of liquids.
My wife ordered another cooked item and it arrived soggy.
Starbucks, youâre on fire at this location. Youâll have to pay ME to return...
