Treated me like a criminal because I was trading in something I bought the night before, They failed to realize I didn't care about the game and only wanted the exclusive physical bonuses from the special edition, she didn't even give me a receipt so I couldn't fill out a survey
I thought it was unreal how the girls working flirted with me last night during original sale, and then the next day treated me like I was a scammer for trading in the game to double up on the physical bonus items (a hat) but that's why people don't like shopping at GameStop, the employees are mostly young adults that dislike their jobs and want to make you feel like you're the bad guy or think they are "catching a criminal", when in reality they are just inconveniencing hard working customers that don't hate their jobs and have no bad intentions.
I'm Leaving this review solely in hopes that they lose business and traffic, they aren't good people and they lack customer service and organization

He tells me that the store doesn’t accept sealed games. I understand store policy, fine. But then he tells me that he can’t accept it from me at all, even if I were to go home and open it. He said I would have to go to a different store because he would lose his job if they were to see him accept that game from me if they looked at the tape of the security camera. As if I am trying to pull off the crime of the century. Why would anyone look at the security camera on a video game transaction for less than $10? Guy had an excuse for everything. Clearly just doesn’t want to do his job. My son went to trade in a game at another time and they told him they couldn’t because he is not 18. He is 17 and 3/4. I have never heard that policy before. Next day comes I get an email confirming that my order is ready for pickup. Get to the store and I come to find out I accidentally put my nickname instead of my government first and last name. And she refused to give me my ps5 because I didn’t put my first name only last name. Even though I’m showing her the CONFIRMATION email and literal transaction on my bank account. I understand some people can get away with manipulating technology to get a free item but I’m literally showing you the receipts.
