My experience was nothing like the other reviews. We walked in and was greeted with “I know your type - she just wants to try on dresses and you want to watch” - well, yes that is the point of dress shopping, is it not? The selection is limited then when I finally convinced my daughter to at least try on a dress that didn’t look great on the hanger but may look good on … we had to pull the dress ourselves from the rack and take it to the fitting room ourselves. I grabbed a seat thinking they would help my daughter into her big 15’s dress as all other places we have been to but that wasn’t the case. They called me over to the fitting room and said “you need to learn how to do this yourself… we aren’t going to do it for her” then proceeded to leave my daughter and I in the fitting room to put a heavy dress on that required two people by ourselves - completely killing the experience for my daughter and I. After the dress fitting I tried to find a staff member to let us out of the store because they lock the door behind each guest and of course I couldn’t find anyone because they were too busy gossiping in the back between each other. I let myself out of the store without anyone even asking if we liked the dress or if there was anything else they could help me with. A complete and absolutely horrible experience for us. Since I did not get to have a Sweet 16 party, I unfortunately did not get the beautiful pictures in the big dress. That’s where Miami Dress Rental came into the picture. The location is gorgeous with dresses all over the shop and so many options to choose from. The owner was attentive and very nice. I will say this in advanced the prices were ridiculous, but pictures are usually expensive so be prepared. The package we chose came with multiple dresses, locations, and we took advantage ! The pictures came out gorgeous, and my mom is so happy we ended up doing it, although it was a long, hot, and excruciating day for the both of us.
