UPDATE: Purchase at your own risk. Because I gave Simply Home and Lindy's a poor review, they canceled my order right after I told them to deliver it. I guess the owner is too worried about bad reviews than how they treat customers.
So, in their attempt to shut me up, I realize how poorly managed this company is. My furniture is sitting in their warehouse, but because I gave them a poor review, they canceled it without talking to me first.
Save yourself some time and money and don't buy from Simply Living. It looks nice in the store, but I bought and paid for a kitchen table and chairs in March 2021. It is now Sept 2021 and nothing. The customer service is terrible. I called to check and no one called me back.
The only excuse I ever get when speaking with someone is that everything is back ordered due to Covid. That is not a very good response, especially since it has now been six months and no furniture. I was promised this table no later than May 2021 and I am still waiting.
Protect yourself and stay away from Simply Living and Lindy's Furniture....
Read moreI’m giving the store a 3 and that being generous. Only because they cannot control the supplier “Winners Only” delivery date. I ordered June 2021 and just received the table. After waiting this long the table is much darker then what I ordered. When I contacted Sharon (my sales rep) I sent pictures. She agreed the table is darker but nothing more was said. I’m still waiting for my chairs. Now I’m concerned if my chairs will be lighter or darker 😢☹️ I also had to initiate the follow up call to Simply Home tracking my table. When I called Sharon said “let me check” then came back on the phone saying “oh yes your table is here”. I feel if I had not called I would still be waiting for an update. If you are not picking up your furniture yourself and have to wait for Caroline Carriers you will need to wait another few weeks because they fill the truck first and make many many stops along the way. Read moreMy family purchased living room furniture from Simply Home in Hickory and we have had nothing but trouble with it. The leather loveseat we purchased has never worked right. The powered foot and headrests will not go in or out. We have called the store numerous times and they have sent us new switches and batteries and they still do not work. They finally sent us out a new loveseat after we complained for months and the new loveseat does not work either. We have 2 rotating, powered chairs and within a couple months we had to replace switches and batteries in those as well. We have contacted the store many times and they said they refuse to do anything else to help us. The customer service we have received has been terrible. The sales people were fine but once we have had the furniture and needed help with the pieces not working, the customer service has been horrible. We would never suggest Simply Home...
