This company has devastated me and my family! The company had me go through extreme training and put me through extreme stress and told me that I could make $150,000 there a year and that they couldnât wait for me to make âlife-changing moneyâ. The day before national training they call me and tell me that they donât think Iâm a âgood fitâ for this job after 10 days of extreme training. The sad part about this is they completely messed up the whole training process. The very first day I had the wrong trainer and was not giving the correct paperwork on my first day, which me and Jimmy Crabtree discovered on day three and four when I was missing information and of course, didnât know it because I was never provided it! At that moment there, Jimmy shouldâve known that I might be behind on training and that I might need some extra help but instead I never got to use the iPad with a customer and instead he used the iPad and never let me work the program with a customer. How do you expect a person to learn when they arenât even doing it and compared to the other workers my trainer wasnât taking In near as much as the other reps were and thatâs what u need is real life examples which is what you are suppose to do. I even have pictures of a list where I had to stay up till 2 oâclock in the morning starring everything that he had missed on his to do list for training me and I told him the next day and instead of taking his time and going over it with me, he went over them all one time and expected me to remember everything after going over everything in less than 20 minutes. The sad part is Iâve spent $750 on suits that they require you to wear and got my beard shaved which is required and they even require some people to have a credit card when they go to national training so I could only imagine what that would be like if you applied for a credit card and then was told âyou arenât a great fitâ They sent me âwelcome to the team lettersâ âcanât wait for you to make life changing moneyâ two days before nationals and the day after they tell me, âIâm not a good fitâ. Itâs not OK to dangle a lot of wealth over somebodyâs head and tell them that youâre excited for them and to tell them to go buy clothes and go look a certain way and then two days before the final training you just cut them from the training. The sad part is they didnât even tell me why so now Iâm left wondering what I did to deserve this. Sadly, I donât have more room to type, but thereâs a lot more to this story. The only reason I write this is so that maybe if youâre thinking of working for this company that maybe you think twice before making lifestyle changes and spending a lot of money on things. I truly think they missed out on someone that was ready to make this there life, I had already talked to a family of 5 to come in my first week to get new lines and a business account with AT&T to come over within my first month so obviously I was preparing to make this my everything. Now my family is devastated and so I am. I will never look at Verizon the same again. I added this photo to show the amount of stuff they made me learn in just 10 days to then just do this to me. I donât understand how a company can do this to people. Iâm deeply disappointed with this decision and I really would have respected the decision maybe if they had just told me why the...
Read moreI didn't even buy anything. I just needed help transferring my data to a refurbished phone I bought online. Was I scorned? Turned away? Subjected to much exasperated sighing? Not by Courtney Turner!
And I'm already unsure if I like the phone I purchased online. I'm not interested in the latest & greatest. I just want to do the few things I do on a phone with simple ease, so I didn't want to go into a store to be pressured to spend a ton of money on features I didn't need or want or for a brand name. I just don't think there is a smart phone out there truly worth more than $300 to $400 & I will not spend more than that.
But if I decide to return the refurbished phone I bought online & go through the Verizon upgrade process, you can be assured I will not go through anyone BUT Courtney. Professional, friendly, kind...if she was perturbed by helping me activate a phone I bought elsewhere, then she should go professional poker player as I saw not a single sign she was anything other than glad to be of assistance.
I did not feel neglected or as if I were a waste of her time & THAT tells me that when she makes a sale, her focus isn't selling you any & everything she can, but only what you need & want. I appreciated her integrity & willingness to help despite not making anything for doing so! I actually feel a bit guilty now, so if you are shopping a new phone, help me out by going to Courtney Turner. Tell her you read this & it is why you sought her assistance specifically...because you wanted to be treated fairly,...
Read moreHonestly, I donât know why the reviews are so good for this place. I read the reviews and expected stellar customer service...but instead received subpar service. My friends went in on 4/24/20 to ask a few questions and possibly buy a new phone. However, the man who âtook careâ of them had a rude attitude. After asking one question, my friend said thanks, and he didnât even respond and only proceeded to look back at his own phone screen. What kind of customer service is that? Good thing my friend is nice, and said maybe he was just having a bad day. However, this just did not sit right with me...especially when the customer was more understanding than the actual employee. Wouldâve given this place a 0/5 if I could, as I believe customer service is one of the most important parts of a business. Anyhow, thank you for exposing yourself so we can go purchase our phones elsewhere!
P.s. maybe they have such an employee because of lack of funds from the recent pandemic. That doesnât really make a great excuse for poor service though. You never know what other people are going through, so it is better to treat everyone kindly regardless of your own situation(s).
Oh yeah, I wouldâve given a name, but he was so rude that he didnât even greet us or provide us with a name...
Update: I called the Verizon Authorized Retailer store in Greensboro and they were so much nicer! If you want to get serviced by Verizon, I would recommend you to go to the Greensboro store (as they are relatively close to...
