I don't like this waffle House it could be because of the hour that we went it was really late a little after 11:00 p.m. our server place napkins on our table without cleaning the table then she laid all the silverware we were a party of four and she placed all the silverware directly on the table the four the nice the spoon she walked off took a long time to come back finally got our drink order I had to request a cup of hot water so that I can put all the silverware in it to sterilize the silverware before we could use them I cleaned off the table because I keep antibacteria sanitizer with me so I just use that and some napkins and sanitize and cleaned off the table it's an extreme long time to get the food we never heard her call out the food and we had to ask other servers from other areas four items that we needed eventually she came over to see if we need anything and to ask if it's okay to remove dishes we left the tip even though she did not deserve a tip but we are children of God so we do things the right way the way God would do us we don't deserve a lot of things that we receive whether it's by his grace we get them so we did leave her with Grace I recommended to our party that we come again maybe at a different time and we'll probably get better service and they agreed because they had been there before but it had been earlier doing a daytime hour and the service was excellent so we're going to give them a second chance but the taste of the food was good the ham was not as tender as I wanted it but I don't send food back and expect it back I expected to be done right the first time so I just kind of...
Read moreI have not eaten at Waffle House in years! However, I wanted an omelette. A lot happened to make it a bad experience. I will begin with entering the establishment...there was no greeting from any workers. I would have left, but wanted that omelette. Eventually, a cashier asked me if I was ordering takeout. I replied with yes. There was not a full menu to view. I was given what she referred to as a "Cheat sheet." My order consisted of the omelette, hashbrowns which were not edible. I ordered a side of grits and raisin bread toast with apple butter. While waiting for my order, two front employees were having a personal conversation about someone at the register in front of me. Additionally, a male cook and a female worker started to argue and the guy called the girl a liar about lids. This arguing is not acceptable! Training and observation needs to be incorporated within this organization. To continue, I get home and notice there was no raisin toast. Whomever packed my to go order should have realized this or the cook that stated that the order was heard. The order was repeated back, so I don't understand why I got something else. Lastly, the omelette meat was hard (ham), the hashbrowns were hard, not appealing, and overcooked. The grits were ok, and once again, I did not get my raisin toast. I feel like I may have been overcharged because of this cheat sheet situation. The atmosphere of the restaurant looked horrible from the front to the back. A hole in the wall so to speak. Waffle House has really declined throughout the years. The absolute worst experience ever! If staff were nicer, maybe the tips...
Read moreThe food was top notch. A friend and I went in on 02/19 around 6:30-7pm. Waitress at first was fine. Our order was not exactly right but it was no big deal, we didnât say anything and the food was absolutely amazing, like probably the best Waffle House food we have had in a while and we eat Waffle House several times a week. After we got our food waitress went and sat in the corner played on her phone for a while, never come back to refill our drinks. After we finished we was looking around waiting for the check, she seen us looking at her, walks up, and said âso whatâs up what you need, was you looking at me because you need somethingâ in a really rude way. We had been nothing but respectful to this woman, and she had an attitude for no reason. Hate to say it but she seemed a little racist, and seemed like she was treating us this way because we are white. Itâs the only logical explanation because we had been extremely respectful and made sure to thank her when she brought us our drinks and food. Like I said the food was great, the cook was awesome, give that man a raise. Management should consider having a conversation with the waitress. We donât want to see her fired or anything like that, it was just really rude and underserving, the way we...
