I am beyond grateful for the team at Pets4life. My husband and I recently adopted a kitten as a companion for our other fur babe and within 24 hours noticed that the kitten was sick. Not sure of what to do, we found Pets4life and they immediately took us in. We were beyond stressed and the moment we walked into their facility we were put at ease. Dr. Joesph and our vet tech Amanda were BEYOND patient with us and answered every question we had. The amount of care they took with both of our fur babes blew me away. Both are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in their practice and honestly I don’t think we would have been able to get through this tough time without them. Not only did they provide us with so much valuable information and advice, their constant communication is next level - they consistently follow-up (still to this day) with phone calls to check-in, which most places don’t. Not once have they ever rushed us or made us feel stupid for asking questions. They simple just care. I also have to point out that their facility is pristine. While visiting Highland Park this summer, I noticed Pets4Life signage at Fink Dog Park, Moraine Dog Beach, and The Preserve. Any company that supports these spots sparks my interest. When my 2 American Cocker Spaniels needed grooming, I gave them a call and was able to get an appointment for both of my pups back-to-back in just a matter of days. I dropped them at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday and by 1:30 p.m., I received a text that they were almost ready (no spending all day in crates here)! Nicole, the head of grooming, was very communicative and asked clarifying questions about how I liked my pups cut. When I arrived, she was still working on one who stared at me with a literal smile through the glass window while the other slept at Nicole's feet. Nicole Thorsen is the best groomer. Our almost 11 year old poodle, who used to get regularly groomed, by the amazing and well-renowned Billy Rafferty, had a series of serious health problems. Now that she has gotten a little bit better but that said grooming her would be a good idea. With great fear and trepidation we did our research and my wife found Nicole at pets for life. Not only does our dog look more beautiful than she hasn't several years, but when I got there to pick her up she was just hanging out with Nicole as if they were the best of friends. I have a very anxious poodle and typically when I pick her up from anywhere she screams and jumps like a lunatic. Not today, she acted like she was hanging out with an old friend when I came to pick her up. I couldn't recommend Nicole Thorsen any more. I would give her a hundred Stars if I could.
