Horrible experience. I bought less than a month ago some the valentino rockstud metallic ankle strap sandals for my graduation ceremony. The heel broke during the graduation (this was the first time using it) it was a really scary thing, luckily I didn’t fall but I had to change my heels to others in the middle of the ceremony. I came to Valentino today to figure out what they could do for me, the guy that “helped” me was being rude and wanted to charge me for the shipping after the repair. I didn’t really want the shoes anymore but he told me that reparing them was the only option and they couldn’t give me store credit… so I didn’t have any choice. He was being so rude that I left with the shoes. He told me he was going to talk to the manager, I told him I would not leave the shoes if I have to pay, he told me I could leave with the shoes then and walked away he left me standing in the store talking by myself. His name is Michael!!! The shoes were 1150$ and for the price I paid for them I should receive better treatment. I want a refund! He was super rude not sure because I am hispanic, he was super rude since the moment I enter the store. DONT GO TO...
Read moreWe entered the Valentino store in Highland Park excited to try things on and find something to purchase. The gentleman who appeared to be in charge (Michael?) could not have been less welcoming or friendly. We were interested in several dresses but two were not in the right size (he did not offer to check to see if another size could be located) and we were unsure of the fit of another. We would have welcomed his opinion on the fit of the dress and would have liked to know if alterations were an option but he chose not to speak to us or offer assistance. And the store was not busy.
We stopped to look at some handbags but after the way we were treated we just left the store. I’d like to add that we were nicely dressed but it shouldn’t really matter; you can’t judge people and how much they might wish to spend on just their clothes. But the attitude of the salesman was so horrible it completely soured us on Valentino. So we went down the street to the Fendi boutique, were treated like royalty, found beautiful pieces, and spent five figures on wonderful clothes and shoes. The staff at Valentino could (and should) take...
Read moreI Purchased a backpack while on a trip in Europe, a few hours after the purchase I realized the zipper was not working properly. Brought it to this Valentino store once we came back to the United States, only to find out that Michael found it amusing that I couldn’t use my bag while on vacation. He literally laughed on my face. I ignored his comments, the bag was sent out to replace a zipper. I called the store several times to check on the bag but the very first time I called the response back to me was “well did I call you? If I don’t call you that means your bag is not ready”. Weeks went by before my bag was finally returned. I once again went back to this Valentino store to pick it up, this time there was a lady there who was even more rude than Michael was. I wanted to know where the bag was sent for repairs and if they were part of Valentino. I was told that if I wanted that I should’ve shipped it to Europe. There’s no customer service whatsoever at this place. I will not be going back to the...
