Roses Discount Store — Local services in Hillcrest Heights

I was not pleased with my last purchase at Rose's. Rose's have one price on the shelf and a higher price in the register. When I confronted the cashier about this, she told me that it must been a price change recently and that they don't have time to change the price to the new price. I told her that I don't shop by the price in the register, I shop by the price advertised on the shelf. She was not willing to give me the price that was on the shelf, so I told her to take the items off. Walmart is doing the same thing as well as Walgreen. So pay close attention to what your items ring up at the register. The store was clean and organized. There were not a lot of customers. There was only one cashier for check-out. The floral department had lots of florals, they had lots of toys and christmas decorations. The food isles were kind of skimpy but they were stocking the shelves. They have lots of winter gear too. This Roses discount store is nothing to write home about.. It's not like the one I use to go too in Baltimore city. That one It's off liberty heights and Northern Park, they are set up much better better and they have lots more nice looking products that are worth coming in the store. In my opinion this store is like an over price dollar general. I never heard of a store not accepting cash and then in the next line the cashier say where not accepting credit cards. The manager at this store is extremely rude to her employees. It makes me feel very uncomfortable seeing her treating them like that, especially for 13.50 an hour. She’s also rude to the costumers. Hopefully she see this review. People are watching the way you treat people. It’s disgusting, your ways are uncouth. Ugh I will never shop here again. That was the last straw seeing you be nasty to the employees and costumers like you own the dang store. They all should quit until they hire someone else who can run a store without being a pos!
