I usually don’t do reviews but I’m writing one because I feel as though everyone should be CAUTIOUS before making a purchase at Pro cakes.I came to Pro cakes June 28th, 2021 to try out their funnel cakes it was me and my boyfriend that wanted funnel cakes.We received it after waiting 10 minutes wasn’t worried about the wait but after we received it.We ate some in our car and my boyfriend had felt a sharp pain in his abdomen and he thought “hm maybe it’s because I’m hungry”.So we went to get something to eat and throughout the day while we were working I started to feel a sharp pain in my abdomen didn’t think much about it.So I continued to eat my funnel cake and that was the last food I ate so later on that day I started to feel unwell so i didn’t think much about it.Until I woke up early in the morning June 29, 2021 around 2-8AM running back and forth to the bathroom I thought “oh okay it’s going to be a normal bowel movement”.But I continued to go use the bathroom around that time span and it wasn’t a normal bowel movement.I had a very upset stomach also my boyfriend wasn’t feeling well either I got more sicker than my boyfriend I still feel sick to my stomach, weak and wanting to throw up writing this review.I wanted to warn everyone before buying anything from them I feel as though they’ve a unsanitary environment.So be aware because you might end up getting a stomach virus/ bug...

Shout out to ProCakes! A huge thank you to Erica and the entire ProCakes staff for making my daughter’s 15th birthday absolutely phenomenal with their strawberry shortcake crunch cake.

Not only was it delicious beyond words, but it was also beautiful. The fresh strawberries on top, the cream, the icing it was just perfect. Moist, flavorful, not too sweet but just enough to keep you wanting another bite. Truly a cake that looked as good as it tasted.

ProCakes is top tier at this point. I won’t even shop anywhere else. I’m already planning to come back for the snickerdoodle cookies, the red velvet cake, the lemon cake, the strawberry cake, and of course another strawberry crunch cake.

This cake brought my daughter’s milestone birthday to the next level. Ending the night singing happy birthday with that ProCakes masterpiece on the table was unforgettable.

The cake was a 10/10, the customer service was a 10/10, everything about the experience was a 10/10. From their Iverson Mall location to their new St. Barnabas Road spot this is hands down the BEST bakery in the DMV.

I am soo happy to have stumbled upon this Black-owned bakery that have delicious products and awesome customer service! I’m from the area, but I’ve since moved out of the area, but happened to be down the road and craving cookies from The Great Cookie. I happened to notice Pro Cakes was next door so I glanced over while I was checking out with my cookies and saw the most beautiful cupcakes and the nicest man setting up for the day. I walked over to check them out and was very impressed with what I saw. The gentleman answered all 100 of my questions and after a hard deliberation, I decided to purchase the Sweet Potato Pie that was calling my name! Immediately I noticed how heavy my pie box was when they handed it to me. When I cracked it open at home, I saw how deep the pie crust was and it was overflowing with yummy sweet potato filling! The pie was AMAZING!!! I will definitely be making my way back to Pro Cakes and trying the delicious looking cupcakes and their famous...
