CAN THO MARKET — Local services in Hillsboro

I have been warned many times by my friends that the owner of this market always charges extra for items that you do not buy but I still do not want to go to the bigger market because I want to support small businesses but today I was charged an extra fee of nearly $2 for an item that I did not buy and when I asked, she blamed it on the item of the previous customer who did not buy and was still in the machine???. And they removed that item but i didnot know and If they did this in a day with 30 other people, they would earn $60 and in a month they would earn an additional $1200 with the times they pretended to make mistakes like that. I am really disappointed with a Vietnamese business in cheating customers like that. By doing that, I think Asians often say that karma is fair, I hope they will not be cheated by others because of what they have done for their customers. Please check the bill when they press the cash register because they press very quickly when you are not paying attention. I have been going to this market last 10 years and i dont know how much they charged me the last 10 years. Just be careful people. They have lost a customer....

Omg I’m so glad I found this Asian grocery store! Not you usual smelly “what are they doing in the back to stink up the store” sorta place. So clean! But even better is the fresh herbs they carry like perilla, Thai basil, mint, curry leaves and more. Their produce is always fresh too, not like many other places that their produce is always in the edge of usefulness. Their carrots are always fresh and snappy. They pack great selection of products in this little store. I made pho, bun cha, and few other Vietnamese dishes all from ingredients purchased fresh here. They also have beer! Lastly, the lady helping you is so nice and friendly. She knows exactly where everything is and will drop everything to help you quickly. She’s also from Can Tho so she can help with local...

This (CAN THO MARKET) is by far one of the worst ever!!!!🤢🤢🤢 Poor customer service, consistently rude attitude!!! Poor-quality goods (moldy), expired products, high prices. They mixed with new stuffs to fool you. Expired frozen meat and old products are everywhere and hidden. They don’t take return and blame it on you for not checking. Unbelievable!!!

I swear to God, if I have a choice for zero star or negative star, that would be it. Take your money somewhere else. This place is the worst in service as no one smiles and they don't care for their customer. They tried to charge you for every little things and their produce are often moldy and old. Rude is all you will get other than bad product. DO NOT SHOP HERE. TAKE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY...
