I am new here from Michigan and decided to try this place place via Doordash. I ordered the pink lychee I believe. When my Dasher delivered the drink, it was wide open with strawberries sticking out of the top. I was appalled because that is clearly a health and safety issue concerning my food. I CAN'T drink that delivered to me that way. I called the location and the woman was very short telling me that it had to be the Portland location. I call the Portland location and that lady was very nice and looked for my order. No order. Beforehand, she told me that they hadn't had a Doordash order since earlier that day, but she would check. Doing a simple Google search revealed that the Hillsboro/Beaverton location I called first was the closer restaurant to me so I called back 3-4 times this last hour with no answer. They don't close until 8:30p so I am left to think my 313 area code is being ignored!!! Needless to say, I am furious that I can't get this simple issue resolved so I am driving up there!!! I spent $14 to have it delivered to me without proper care and precaution! I'm on my way!!!!!
AFTER MY DRIVE TO THE RESTAURANT: I compose myself and go in. The young lady at the register hears my complaint and looks for my order and finds it. I have the drink with me and she tells me that they don't have any other cups to place them in for Doordash orders. I explain to her thst not only are the cups messy (on my drive there liquid would spill out when I made any turns or any sharp movements), but they are a health and safety issue especially with coronavirus. She didn't seem concerned, but made me a new drink. The customer service needs improvement. The cups need to be covered completely.
Dear Zero Degrees, First of all, it wasn't a FREE drink, but I did mention that you all made me a NEW drink to replace the original one when I returned with the original drink in hand (which was thrown out). The Doordash driver isn't responsible for the way you package your product. You SHOULD be taking responsibility for that. Thank you for the corrections that you are making for the safety of your customers....
Read moreI have been meaning to go to this place for months-- and I finally went two times in the last week or so.
First, I highly suggest ordering off their website, or in person. Google orders tend to get forgotten. For me it's not a big deal to wait for a few minutes, but I also expect that if I order online the order will have been started by the time I'm able to get there-- it typically takes me about 15-20 minutes to drive to this location. When I went and they had missed my google order they were very polite about it, and it wasn't busy so I didn't mind.
I do have to say, all the drinks are worth waiting for! I've only tried four so far, but every one of those were amazing! My absolute favorite is the strawberry horchata. It's the first one I tried, and as a lover of horchata, this was an awesome experience. The only other horchata I've had recently is from a nearby restaurant and it tastes similar to bubblegum-- this one tastes like real strawberry milk with a lovely hint of cinnamon. Their Jasmine Milk Tea with Honey boba is amazing as well. That's my favorite bubble tea order so I had to try it here and it passed with flying colors. The Strawberry Mojito is amazingly refreshing! My partner loves pina coladas, and they do an awesome job of that, too!
I do have to say that I'm not super impressed with the sauce to food ratio for popcorn chicken. As a sauce lover myself, extra sauce is always better. I've had better, and much worse popcorn chicken. I think if I got the mild instead of trying the medium I would have liked it better, but my stomach can't tolerate spicy stuff due to some health issues much to my own chagrin.
All in all, definitely a place you want to try! I also suggest trying the split cup on your first try. That's what I did and I was so happy about it! That way if something busts, you have another chance to try something too. This foodie is happy to say that Zero Degrees has easily become one of my favorite places for a...
Read moreTo begin, my father and I waited for over a hour!! Specifically, we waited 30 minutes or so outside the store and then another 35 minutes inside the store for our drinks? Once we got in line, we felt committed and wanted to try it out since it has gained popularity. When we arrived at the register to place our order, the cashier informed us that they were ALL OUT of mango and boba. We were so disappointed since we really came here to get bubble tea. If they knew they were out of boba and mango, they should really be posting a sign at the front door to inform customers. Despite being closed, they were still taking orders! I thought this was ridiculous. They need to limit the amount of customers around their closing time, especially when people are already waiting nearly an hour for their drinks and they were out of essential ingredients (i.e. boba and mango). I also noticed that certain orders were prioritized over ours for some odd reason despite them ordering 10 minutes after us...It just didn't make sense and it wasn't fair since we waited a lot longer. Save your time and money, and head to Bubble N Tea over at Cedar Hills! As for the beverages, they were not good. Simply, they were watered down and the taste of corn syrup was so strong! These drinks are definitely not "fresh." I also happened to notice they are using Hidden Valley ranch for their dip sauce. I think for the cost of their snack-sized chicken and fries; this is probably not worth the price. So...I am glad I did not order those things. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and probably won't be going back...It's definitely not worth the hype, cost,...
