The airshow itself was a good event. The condiments, particularly water, could be less, they are making a real profit taking advantage of the 98° temperature and don't even allow viewers to bring in their own water. $2.00 for a bottle of Costco water they probably paid

Very disappointed in the way this show was organized. There were so many reservation options that it was confusing just what one was getting. We thought we had seats, but did not. Did not bring chairs because we believe there was a seat somewhere. Consequently, we had to wander up and down the flightline in the sweltering heat which was the root problem. We ended up milling around under the Intel canopy, trying to avoid getting into anyone's way. There was a charge for EVERYTHING! Obviously, this was a pure money-making enterprise. The static aircraft were spread out over a large area, separated by vast expanses of flightline. In the heat, this was problematic. The beer garden had been booked up in advance, so there was no shelter to be had there, either! I attended the airshow at Fairchild AFB outside Spokane last year. The Air Force production was far superior, and it was obvious that it was intended to showcase the aircraft and not wring money out of the attendees! Sadly, the heat on Sunday and lack of opportunities for cover resulted in our leaving a couple of hours before the Blue Angels' performance...the primary reason for attending! I think Intel and other sponsors need to reassess the reason for such a monetary focus. I have always had the highest regard for products with the Intel label. Unfortunately, I now have a new association with that name and it...

The air show performers were top notch. This review is specifically about the Hillsboro 2022 show. “No Outside Food or Drink”. OK…no problem my daughter and I will just buy it there. I spent over 2 hours in line to get my daughter a drink. We didn’t even get to watch the air show together. It was hot and you guys advertised that we need to purchase everything the show. That is not a problem except you were not prepared for the crowd. It was a hot summer day. We were parched when we left only to find the only relief was a water spicket at the front gate with tiny paper cups. The experience was terrible. It was a huge let down. All we wanted was water. FYI….bring your own water bottle. It has to be empty or you will have to dump it and fill it up with the Hillsboro city water tap. This would have been really helpful to post on the website. We would have been glad to bring our own but it said specifically “No Outside Food or Drink” so we trusted that we would be ok if we had...
