Great food, terrible service.

We had a somewhat larger party of 7. When we arrived at 5:00, it was us and one other group of 2 in the restaurant.

Once we arrived, we ordered our meals pretty quick, as we often do take out. Someone in our party requested sweet and sour on the side for our appetizer and we never received it. We were only given 4 waters and we said we need 3 more, he ended up only bringing us 2 more. I figured maybe he couldn’t carry more than two cups...but he never came so I had to get up and ask him for a water after about 15 minutes. We then receive four of our meals, assuming the rest are coming out in a minute. That didn’t happen, our server came back after 10 minutes, asked someone in our party what they ordered again. We ended up getting 2 of the 3 meals after another 15 minutes passed that, as everyone else was finishing up, as we told them not to wait for us. For those two meals, he brought white rice which they requested brown, so that took another 5 minutes to bring out and then another 5 minutes after that just for the last dish which was a salmon curry. On top of that he never came back to refill our water glasses so I ended up grabbing the pitcher of water myself and giving everyone at our table water.

By the time we left, once everyone ate it was about 7:30 or so. And the restaurant was a lot more full, probably another 5 or 6 groups of people with only the one server. Still though, our service was awful and if it’s going to be busy like that, they need to have more servers.

After the experience, probably won’t be dining in again, only take out but always check your order as they have forgot items MULTIPLE times and ive learned to check now every time...

We have been to this place several times these past few years when visiting our relatives in Forest Grove. We ordered several dishes to try and found that most dishes taste very close to what we got in Thailand. We have been to Thailand several times because my brother married a Thai lady. So we know what the authentic Thai food should taste like. So far the quality of food here has been okay but the quantity is getting worse. It is getting more expensive to eat here but we understand that it is because of an increase in cost. But what really disappointed us is THE SERVICE. We know that most Thai people are really nice and Thailand is known for a land of smile. In the past, we received very good service even we were there during lunch time that they were real busy. BUT this is not true now. We received a TERRIBLE SERVICE from two Mexican servers. My relatives said that they probably changed the owner or management. We were not sure about this, though. But right now what we see is all Mexican servers and they give us a bad experience. We probably do not come back there again...

Be cautious of over-charging

I would advise everyone, especially Intel folks, to stay away from this business, because they have no integrity.

I ordered a lunch special with extra vegetables. Instead of $1.5 on the menu, they charged me $2.5 for the extra vegetables. When I pointed it out, they didn’t admit their fault, but gave me two different excuses: 1. The price on the menu is wrong (if so they should honor the advertised price); 2. I order vegetables instead of a vegetable so it’s more than $1.5 (the menu states $1.5 for extra vegetables, and I pointed at the $1.5 when ordering my food).

I would have let it go if they admitted their fault on the advertised price. The way they tried to get away with it by blaming me is unacceptable. I wonder if they have been doing this intentionally because they don’t give itemized receipts after swiping credit cards unless you request for it explicitly.
