Aircraft Aviation Museum — Attraction in Hillsboro

Website does not display hours of operation so I call and only get a answering macho e and leave a message so I did with a question of when are you open and my return phone number., Facebook page says open from 9am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday......so does the entrance door to the museum.....guess what....Wednesday 12:30 pm.....doors locked.....first volunteer that comes out rodent even tell me it's closed before I get to the door.......I sit down at the tables out front, then 2 more volunteers come out and I asked if open and told no.......I said Facebook page and door say they are open....then one volunteer says "nope we're not open the same as old like we are" and walks off....Seriously ? I am here visiting from Texas...my ride has left and I am stuck sitting for 2 hours.....update your operation hours or send a notam out of current status......at least I am at an airport being the aviation enthusiast I am so not a total loss. I showed up at 9:45 Monday morning October 15th 2018 with 2 friends visiting from Washington. There was a person looking at us from the door as I pulled into the parking lot. The closed sign was displayed but I knocked on the door because I knew someone was in the building. No one came to the door so I called the number listed on the website. This went straight to voicemail and I didn’t bother leaving a message. Pretty sad that the person inside didn’t come to the door to talk to us. I don’t know if this is a good museum because I’ll never go back there. I would give it zero stars if I could. The hours posted for the day we went was 9:00-3:30. Pathetic-don’t...

We came to the museum because my husband loves all things aircraft and, despite the website hours saying they were open until 4, they were closed. We arrived about 1:30, there was an old clock sign on the door with the "We will return at" pointed at 2 so we left and came back but they were still closed, sign unchanged. We were very disappointed that we didn't get to see the museum and at the wasted...
