Wingspan Event & Conference Center — Local services in Hillsboro

As another reviewer put it: ...event "Space has no personality, but was very clean." Reminds me of a nice new high school gym. The pics here on Maps show it well.

Also as folks noted: Not a ton of rest rooms if the place is near capacity. Didn't see any ADA doors.

The only major draw back (for us) when we were there was the $10 parking... Perhaps that allows for lower hall rent? But considering one could land a small plane in the empty space around the place, it seems a bit much.

I suggest avoiding parking in the trimet park and ride, even on days that it is 95%+ empty (I'm guessing it has 150 to 250 spots - there were about 6 cars near the train and about 7 close to the event center)... We were grumpily* informed it was a $65 dollar ticket and cars will be towed to near PDX airport at a $200+ fee.

*I'd be grumpy too if I was spending my Saturday / Sunday afternoons making sure a parking lot stayed 96% percent empty instead...

I bought tickets ahead of time. Still stood in line 4 abt 1/2 hr waiting in line with those who needed 2 purchase tickets, 4 our wrist bands so that we could enter the event room. Once in there it was booth aft booth of things related 2 cats that were 4 sale. There were 3 adoption pens that had lines! At least a 1/2 hr 2 45 min wait 4 10 mins of interactions with kittens. There were 2 activities that we free, making a cat toy n coloring pictures of cat. A few photo opt areas. My grddtr was bored, sad that she couldnt get in2 visit the kittens, they were on a 15 mins break n then a long wait. I thought it was going 2 b an interactive event 4 kids. Not happy that we paid 2 get in so that we could buy...

Concession employee kinda rude. Male, 30s, reddish hair and beard. Working an event there and was eating my own lunch and was told no outside food allowed. Was told "I don't care. " when I explained I was working the event. They have limited hours for concessions first of all so I would need food on hours they aren't there, food is overpriced and not very good and their security guard has their own food.
