Unbearable. two times in the store to get a simple print job done, and finally had to go elsewhere. I came to the print and copy center at Noon, 3/4/16. the staff person had about four tasks going and appeared overwhelmed.I waited patiently, for my turn for only about 10 minutes. Some level of manager came over to "help" I guess. The staff person explained to the manager that his customer (not me,) was having trouble getting on the wifi. the manager said, " oh, that hasn't been working for several days" He never gave any of the five customers, waiting any eye contact or acknowledgement. After waiting my turn, I explained my printing need, no urgency, and that i had had postcards printed there regularly for three years. he put my CD, which was clearly labelled with email, telephone, explanations, etc. to make it easy. i pointed to a six foot large banner advertising 100 postcards for 19.99. i needed 200 postcards, printed. the staff person said that it was an "online" price and they could not do it that way. i said, okay, just let me know what you can do. he said he would call me back at 4pm. It never happened. Saturday morning, (the next day) I called the store, went through all of the directed button pushing two times only to get hold music. I decided to drive to the store, arriving about 9:30am. there were only 3 customers in the store and 4 staff. i waited for my turn, as the staff person of the day helped mail a package for a customer, explaining the entire time all of the rules, problems and excuses, why it was difficult. I patiently waited my turn. When she approached me I explained that I was trying to get postcards done from items on a CD, that I had not heard back, and exactly what my needs were. She scrambled around, also, giving all appearance of being too busy, exasperated and overwhelmed, but could not find my CD or order form. she finally found it and dropped the CD out of the sleeve, breaking the case. no big deal. She began to explain how hard it was going to be, what I was going to have to do, etc. there was a second employee in the shop who worked on the computer and never looked up. She told me I was going to have to sit down at the computer and go on the website. I asked for my CD and decided that I would find somewhere else to get my work done. I had been doing this effortlessly for 3 years. I went to the Assistant manager, told him of my concern. he looked at me as if i were a three eyed goat and said nothing.I left, and drove by a UPS store closer to my home. I did not know they even performed printing service. They could not have been kinder, cheerful and...
Read moreYoung fellow working in print section of state, horrible employee. I wanted to purchase a refill for my pen, and it did not have marking. So, I found one on the shelf asked him could he open it so I could verify if it fits, he refused. So, I went proceeds to the re Ginter and said let me try it before paying and if it worked I would buy it. In the process, I open it in front of the store manager (which I did not know who he was or position in the store). The store manager watched me take out my old one and put in the new one and I said it works, so he told me to over the young fellow in the print section and pay for, so I did. At, this point he had an attitude, but I still proceed to pay for it with my credit card, then he threw the package on the counter so hard and towards me, that it landed under by my feet. At this point, I said I am not buying it for the way you are action by throwing this to me. He then proceed to call the store manager over the radio and said that he has a customer that is stealing and leaving the store, asked for assistance at the front door. Mind you, I am not attempting to leave and asking whats his problem, then he said he was going to call the police, I told him go ahead, I will be right here. Then the store manager came over and he was telling him I had stole the refill, and the leaving. The manager was polite in handling the situation and I...
Read moreI visited this staples store today to purchase a laptop and experienced the worst service of my life. From the first interaction to my conversation with their General Manager, I was deeply disappointed. One salesperson even persistently questioned my request for a HP laptop was an i7 and told me numerous times that I didnât need it and I should look at other models. Then when I tried to purchase the said laptop that was listed online as âon sale in-store onlyâ they refused to match the price. They told me, in not so nice terms, that I would just have to pay regular price, they didnât know what that coupon was, and didnât care to price match their companyâs advertisement. I finally left in frustration and went to the Bluffton Staples. They were FANTASTIC! I can not recommend that store enough. If you are thinking of going to Staples to purchase a laptop, skip Hilton Head and head to Bluffton. Their customer service is too notch and you will not be disappointed. Nobody needs to deal with the horrible service provided at this Hilton...
