While standing in line, 4 young people (assuming they work there and are off duty) walked right behind the counter and started grabbing cookies with their bare hands. No gloves. For two reasons, this is not good. One, food safety. I’m sure they’ve taken food safety classes upon being hired. That is just downright gross. Second, with your amount of traffic, the cookie flavors are selling out quick. I don’t care if they work there and are on their day off, shouldn’t you be saving your cookies for paying customers? Bad business practice. I alerted the young Hispanic female, thinking she’s the manager since she wore a different outfit than everyone else, that her off duty employees are just taking cookies out of the warmer with their bare hands. Crave cookies are delicious no doubt! However their Customer Service is horrible!! My daughter loves the cookies she went in on Friday the 30… there were no customers! she goes up to the counter and is waiting while the two girls are too busy with their conversation she waits bout 5 min. Till finally one girl comes takes her order kinda throws her money to her!!! Then the other girl just barely puts the cookie on the counter and hurries to walk back to continue the conversation. Not even a Thank you was applied. I parked in front and saw everything! I went in to ask for the Manager #. They looked at me dumbfounded and said they can look it up! Crave Cookies in Hobbs is an absolute 10/10 overall! I have seen this chain pop up on influencer videos and happened to be in Hobbs on a quick trip, having the opportunity to final see what it’s all about! The cookies and staff exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to give me the last cookies of the night knowing I came from 5 hours away. The cookies are DELICIOUS! It’s a real cookie base and you can taste and see all the add ins. A lot of the jumbo cookies now a days (like crumbl) have all sweet and density without depth of flavor. Crave does not!
