Orange Wash and Fold — Local services in Hoboken

Well where do we begin. It seems many of the wash & fold services in Hoboken outsource their work to Orange Wash. Over the past few months I would send out my wash & fold and in return get shirts that were not mine. For example I sent 4 LuLuLemon V-necks in two colors. I got back four LuLuLemon V-Necks in different colors then I own.

I figure this kind of stuff happens from time to time no big deal.

That was until they started to comepletly destroy my clothing. I recently picked up some limited "Supreme" T-shirt. 100% cotton easy to clean. I got them in a few days and sent them to get cleaned.

They then come back to me with grey marks all over the shirt completly destroying it and rendering it useless.

When I contact them they started off rude right out the bat, I explained these are rare shirts and I can never replace them. I was then asked to send pictures.

At this point it all hit the fan.

I am going to give them 24 hours to remedy this situation. If it is not fixed by then, I will then post all the pictures of the clothing along with text messages from their management.

Very convenient, but the delivery/pick-up driver has a SERIOUS attitude lately (as of April 2019). Twice in the last few weeks he's "scolded" me for not having my laundry in the perfect 'bag' — um, sorry, didn't realize this was a necessary thing? We put it in bags for pickup and they come back in plastic clear bags. Didn't think that was a problem in all the time i've been using Orange Wash - which is over 7 years. He actually called me to tell me how inconvenient it was for him and that next time I'd better have a better bag. He's a younger guy, assuming he just doesn't know that customer service is 1st priority in a business like this.

The other time, he apparently knocked on my door and I didn't hear it, and he sent a rude text. Hopefully the owner sees this and speaks with him. I was very turned off. I'd give less stars except for the fact that they're super quick and easy turnaround, and I appreciate their flexibility.

Just don't upset the young driver with bad laundry etiquette, or...

I use a wash and fold service at a local storefront and have come to find this is who they use to wash the clothes.

This company lost 25 pounds of laundry because the according to “Daniel” the “driver tied it to a door at 8:30am and saw a Caucasian male take it”

I get it, people F up but this guy Daniel was as unprofessional/childish as I have ever come across. Show some compassion when you get someone’s entire wardrobe stolen.

At the end of the day he put me and the storefront in an awful position and did not take any responsibility. If it wasn’t for the nice duo at VIP Cleaners I’m afraid I would have received no compensation.

I was only able to find out this is the company after googling his phone number. He refused to even tell me who his company was and who his boss was.
