I am a born and raised resident of Jersey City Heights. I grew up going to a Parish closer to me, but decided I wanted to deeper explore my faith and find a Church that better spoke to me since I had not regularly gone since high school. I tried a few Churches closer to me, and ended up going to St. Francis for Easter on a whim since they had a Mass at 9:30 and I was running late for all of the other area Churches' Masses at 9am. I am so grateful I did. St. Francis is a beautiful little Church (with a big heart, and they say) and Father Chris is a sweet gem of a Pastor. I went on my own on Easter and immediately felt so welcome. Father Chris is very personable and his homilies are always very introspective and hopeful.
