Hello all, we must share our opinion of this week’s services and live streams. BRAVO!!! Everything was absolutely fantastic. Fr Remo you and Fathers Vinnie and Charlie are great priests - all for the parish all for the Lord. Brother Michael you are exceptional. Jeremy and our cantor [sorry we didn’t catch your name forgive us] you are both so spiritual and boy can you both hold a note! We believe it was Nathan and Stacy running the live stream - superb everything was perfect - close shots, distance shots all great. We must say we felt like we were in church - we did not skip a beat. Father Remo as a matter of fact, we feel our house is now blessed and we all know we need as many blessings as we can get! Father Remo, sometimes due to other untimely commitments, we could not attend services for Holy Thursday and Good Friday and Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. But this year we attended all thanks to live streaming, we are so very, very proud of our Parish. Carmela’s parents always said, ‘You can always get something good out of something bad’, well this was great for us albeit during this most devastating time of all, times when some of are dear ones leave us forever to this horrible virus. My experience with the Young Adult group has been negative due to ongoing toxic behavior. Katherine, the group leader, has created drama through her self-centered and careless attitude toward others. There is a pattern of gossip from her, directed at both men and women, that has hindered the group’s ability to foster genuine, trusting relationships.

On several occasions, Katherine has inserted herself into other people’s personal affairs—particularly their dating lives—by trying to play matchmaker in ways that feel intrusive and unwelcome. While she may be dealing with her own emotional challenges, there is a shared concern that boundaries are being ignored, which is affecting the overall health of the group.

Lately, several people have also heard her make remarks regarded as racially or culturally insensitive. Even when casually made, comments like these can be deeply harmful in a diverse church setting—especially to those who are new to the faith and seeking community.

Based on these experiences, I do not view the Young Adult group as a safe environment for building friendships, fostering social connection, or cultivating a sense of belonging. I hope this feedback provides helpful insight to anyone considering...

St. Ann church is one of the most beautiful churches in the country. It has been restored recently and the paintings and altar look as good as the day the church ⛪️ was built. Fr. Remo DiSalvatore is the pastor. If you are lucky enough to attend a mass being celebrated by him, pay attention to his homily because they are always full of meaning. Fr. Vinny and Fr. Charly are also great priests. Also if you get the chance, go to the Italian Festival! It has been going on for over 100 years. It is usually held near the end of July and runs for at least 4 days. There are always many food options and a must try is Lou's lemonade 😋 available at the bar. Also make sure that you buy a 50/50 ticket. The jackpots are always healthy.
