I cannot say enough good things about this salon and the people who put their blood, sweat, tears and heart into the business.

In the fall of 2019 I was in DESPERATE need of a new salon and serious hair care help, and saw that Gabby recently changed salons and trusted Gabby's expertise so I immediately reached out to her and I am SO happy that I did!

I had a serious over-bleaching/chlorine/unhealthy hair situation and I was nervous to try a new salon and had been forced to cut my hair very short and had been trying desperately to grow it back since Aug 2018.

During the first call with Ariella in Dec 2019, I knew that I was going to be in good hands - I told her the backstory with my hair issues she basically said that she wouldn't touch my hair unless it was healthy which I will always remember.

Not only has Ariella taught me how to care for my hair to ensure that it stays healthy in between appointments, but the care that she and Gabby have given my hair over the past 14 months I have been able to grow my hair SO quickly, while ensuring that it is strong, healthy, thick and shiny. My hair has legit thrived under the care of The Salon at Hoboken and I won't trust anyone else to touch my hair ever again that isn't Ariella or Gabby - maybe Gio, too :P

But I am thrilled every time I look in the mirror and realize that the proper products, regimen and commitment to health from experts in the field really make the difference. Ariella listens to your requests - and will make consultative suggestions based on the best result to maintain hair health or get your hair to a place of health before just throwing color or bleach on your head.

My hair has never been healthier and grew more in 6 months under Ariella & Gabby's care than it had in the 16 months before that! My only regret is not meeting Ariella sooner!

Also, it's important to note that Ariella, Gabby and Gio really LOVE what they do, and it shows. The Salon at Hoboken is truly a hidden gem in Hoboken and I am so lucky to have been able to find them when I did .

I feel COVID safe, and know that I am under the best care possible. I look forward to each appointment not just for how I will feel afterwards, because who doesn't love fresh color and a gorgeous hair style? But also it's just fun to go there - it's a relaxing, chill vibe that is welcoming to all.

I tell anyone who will listen to me to go to The Salon at Hoboken for the best cut, color and care your hair will ever know! Especially if you're a blonde!

I have been going to the Salon at Hoboken since it opened, with the exception of a year and a half, only because I had moved to FL and of course was too far. I moved back to the area in November 2023, and had to return to the Salon at Hoboken. I now live in NYC and make the commute to hoboken for my hair and its totally worth the trip! Although I have been going to the salon at Hoboken since it opened (I think around 2020), I have been actually been a client of Ariella's for about 17 years now, following her salon to salon. I am so happy she just decided to open her own salon.

Since opening the salon I have of course seen Ariella for my hair, but I have also had Gabby and Kaylan work on my hair as well. They all do an amazing job and I trust all of them equally! They all have colored by hair ( I go in once a month for my grays) and they do such a great job matching the right color for me. I also get my highlights and keratin done here. I have always struggled with length and volume of my hair and have had a long journey with many different extension methods. Ariella eventually introduced me to IBE (I was one of her first clients she did IBE on and from the start she did amazing work!). Ariella and Kaylan continue to do my extensions and I am so happy with how my hair looks. When I lived in FL I actually switched to great lengths (keratin bond) extensions, and while I also liked that method, I had some damage to my hair (not necessarily that that method was bad or anything was done wrong, I just think that after having COVID twice my hair took a hit). Kaylan also does Keratin bonding, but when I moved back we all agreed that for the health of my hair, IBE extensions were probably better for now. The health of my hair is really improving and I love how my hair looks. They also do my eyebrow waxing and i'm always happy with how they look. Everyone at the salon is professional and they truly are artists! I have nothing but good things to say. I always leave the salon happy and feeling beautiful. I’ve been to more salons that I can count, and The Salon at Hoboken is the absolute best ever. All of the staff is so kind and caring, and they make the time I spend there getting extensions go by so fast. I’ve been getting invisible bead, hand-tied weft extensions with Ariella for the past year, and the time and care she takes to make sure I feel and look my best is incredible. I even make sure to schedule trips around where I can be sure I’m in the area for a move-up/retouch. To quote one of many strangers who stop me to ask about my hair, (no I’m not exaggerating; they even think it’s natural!), “your hairstylist is a God!”.

After my first experience with extensions at a different salon being a total nightmare, The Salon at Hoboken gave me a complete transformation that regained my trust in extensions. I’ve also experimented with different colors and highlights, yet my hair looks and feels the healthiest it’s ever been.
