Best. Store. Ever. Very reasonable prices on everything. They have a mixture of no frills brands with name brands, mostly no frills though. Aldi has their own line of foods which are usually equally as good as the name brands so take a chance on something and chances are, you'll like their version. Their return policy is great when you have the receipt because you get your money back plus they give you a replacement item to boot. They call it the "twice as nice" guarantee. If you don't have the receipt then you'll get store credit. Only one item hadn't been to my liking and it was sour cream, it tasted fake and not at all like the real stuff. I got my money back tho. I have mainly all good things to say about this store. The employees are always friendly, decent, helpful, and very respectful of all customers. I give kudos to the bosses who do the hiring. On two occasions, I've had dairy creamers go bad long before the expiration date. But the expiration dates on those creamers are far longer than a normal creamer is, like at least a couple months, so that seems a little bit unrealistic for a dairy product. But I'm guessing that the employees let the creamers sit out on the dock too long (after taking them off the truck) before getting them in the cooler. It's a great store. Go there. You'll be glad you did. Oh, don't forget to bring a quarter since all their shopping carts are locked up and it takes a single quarter to unlock a shopping cart but you get your quarter back when you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was one of the most humiliating shopping experiences Iāve ever had. As a Black woman with a service animal for my anxiety, I was immediately watched and followed by a white female manager from the moment I entered the store. My dog was secured in a carrier inside the cartānot causing any disruption.
The manager walked straight up to me, clearly fixated on my dog. Before she could say anything, I told her, āItās a service animal.ā She didnāt acknowledge that at allāinstead, she immediately blurted out Aldiās policy: āService animals are not allowed in shopping carts, baskets, or ALDI-provided wheelchair/motorcart attachments. Service dogs must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, and the handler must maintain control at all times.ā
I understand the policy, but instead of respectfully explaining it, she told me to take my dog out of the cart and continued pressing the issue in a rude, dismissive way. Even after I calmly explained that my dog is a trained service animal, she stayed nearby watching me, making me feel pressured and unwelcome. I eventually left the store in tears.
The ADA does not require service animals to visibly perform a task at all times, and I should not have been made to feel ashamed or targetedāespecially not while managing a disability and as a Black woman being racially profiled. I will never return. Discrimination like this should not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAldi is by far my favorite place to grocery shop, and this store does a great job keeping things clean and stocked. Sometimes they are stocking mid-day which is both good to see but also sometimes hard to navigate around in the aisles. For the most part, this store is neat and well-kept, but I do notice that sometimes previous Aldi finds get thrown around and disorganized when it's time for the weekly restock (I'm sure due to customers but would be nice if things were tidied on those aisles more often) Some things to know if you've never shopped here: -you'll need a spare quarter to get a shopping cart (that you get back when you return your cart) -you bag your own groceries, whether you go to a cashier or use self-checkout. I highly recommend bringing your own bags. -the self-checkout will rush you. Get well organized before you start to scan items though and you'll be fine -the "off brand" items are actually really good, although may take some getting used to, and it's definitely trial and error based on your tastes -prices are much better than other local grocers, in season produce is great here, and the cheese options are incredible š -Aldi finds (Google it) are often incredible, and a large part of why I shop at...
