Tried to mobile order and it was down. Not end of the world so I had to drive and go in ok I had one cold brew left to finish a challenge. I park it’s 8am also opening so a bit hectic still cool. Then I’m told we are out of cold brew but we can give you ice coffee instead. Since I could not pre order wouldn’t know that! I ask can I pay for cold brew as I need to finish my challenge and they make something else?! I was told it was not allowed and literally said I can’t legally that? We now have laws at Starbucks. I was a Starbucks fanatic forever. Original black card holder however every time I turn around I see the decline and devaluation of customers and program. I was given a business card for the manager with an email only. I didn’t write since whimpy and truly just lame. I had to drive to hockessin because they didn’t turn on mobile since two people only working however i drove to kirkwood hgwy and with app down I had no way to know if they were out. I guess according to them I was breaking the law by asking after wasting my time to help me. Thisnoccures Sunday 7/27/25 and I was trying not to be quote a Karen but today I ordered at another Starbucks by mobile to have store closed after taking $17 and not providing ANYRHING! From now forward I want to hold Starbucks more accountable. It’s overpriced and the service has declined! Read moreEditing my initial review of this place from 5 to 3 stars. I think this Starbucks is descent but not consistent. Sometimes I get my drink the way I ordered it and sometimes I don't which can be annoying. I like to order from my app so I can just pick up and go. I give them credit for always placing my order fast but this does not always mean they come out consistent. I would much rather wait a few more minutes so they get the drink made the right way. Sometimes my drinks lack the shots I ordered which is already a $1.60 addition to an already expensive drink. I love Starbucks so I do spend some money on it. But lacking stuff such as that can be disappointing and waste of my money since the point of ordering in advance is so you can grab your drink and food then go. Didn't feel like making a fuss out of it by asking them to make another so I leave with my drink anyway. Not sure if this is due to a computer error but the inconsistency of my drinks always happens here. Hope they could improve on those aspects of service because it really bums me to go there telling myself "am I going to get a better drink today than last time?" Just putting it out there. Read moreThis starbucks is trash. They don’t care enough to keep the app updated with what is actually available in the store. So they’ll let you order pickup but when you get there the door will be locked and they'll tell you drive through only. Theb you come around the drive through and they tell you they are out of what you order in the first place. If there are more than 3/4 cars in the drive through good luck. I used to come here everyday but theyre so inconsistent and i can not wait in the drive through for 30 minutes. I had to come back in a separate time for a refund and was told I was “lucky” the manager was still there as she was leaving…. As if this wasnt the time and date that they told me to come in on the phone for the refund… BUT LUCKILY, THANKS to this location, i have stopped going to starbucks and no longer go before work each day.
