Habitat for Humanity ReStore Lakeshore — Local services in Holland Charter Township

Bought a refrigerator from this store & was told it was in great working order. Once I got it home I noticed the entire top of the door seal was split & broken apart rendering itself useless. I found thru the Internet that the door seal was no longer available. When I returned to the store to ask about a refund / store credit I was told by the assistant manager, who took my money at the time of purchase, that she new about the defect from previous potential purchasers but would not take the fridge back because it was still working even though the seal was shot. I mentioned that it would be an honest business practice to inform potential buyers of products if there was a problem with the item they were selling. In today's world it is nice to deal with honest, reputable businesses. Habitat for humanity does not appear to be this type of business. Be very cautious of any...

This store has nothing but over priced junk. Lisa the “ manager” in my opinion should not be running this place and what’s up with no restroom for customers??? The store is very unorganized as well as the same items are there for a very long time.. that should clue them into realizing every single item in there is overpriced . I can appreciate helping others but I concur with a lot of the reviews..we and others donate items so everything in there is free to Habitat and instead of reasonably pricing items they are gouging customers. Get your act together people! Donate to the Salvation Army.. they price items fairly and the stores are clean and organized and they sell a lot which allows them to help more people. Seriously a great place to find hidden treasures. I've bought almost all of my light fixtures here for my new house. Some of them needed a little spray paint but they turned out amazing. Staff is so helpful and friendly. I've donated s ton of items here as well. They make it very easy to donate by just dropping off behind the building. You can find a lot of great pieces to fix up here. I've bought so many things I've lost track. The staff even recognizes me when I come in now. I think a few things are over priced, but honestly this place is filled with gold and for theost part they ask very reasonable prices. I wish the parking lot was a little bigger but I've never had a problem so far. It is definitely a big habitat store. Much bigger than the one located...
