Finally found the absolute best installation, appliance and customer service store for appliances. I'm leaving a review because I'm beyond impressed and happy. First, Brandon in sales took all the load off my worries about measurements. (A big box store had me make an appointment to measure my microwave -- waited 3 weeks a no one showed up). Brandon made everything so easy and without having to have someone come out and measure. He was a true professional.
Pricing was competitive and very fair for my products. Purchased 3 appliances which all quit working within a month of each other -- Stove/oven with Air Fryer, Dishwasher and built-in Microwave all stainless.
Next -- the installation. Wow! There are not words to describe the job that Steve and Dustin did at my home. I can honestly compare them bc in the past month alone I have replaced my roof, full bathroom remodel, all flooring on two levels, furniture, and more. This team, Steve and Dustin, were beyond anything I can compare in professionalism, going over the top to make certain every detail of my installation was right, and even corrected issues that honestly were not their responsibility, in order to complete the proper installation. They were so kind. By the time they finished, I gave them both a hug and felt like they were part of my family! Seriously -- I wish I had purchased previous appliances from Northgate. I have had my home in Holland / Saugatuck 20 years and always heard how good they were. Had I known JUST how good -- I would have made previous purchases here and regret that. But I am telling everyone I know about the amazing service I received.
I am beyond happy with every aspect of each point of contact with this company. Plus -- I feel good because I supported a Local Business opposed to a big box store for this part of home upgrades.

Read moreWe bought our entire kitchen package from Northgate for our new house because our builder preferred we go through them. The sales process was fine and Kevin was very helpful when we went to the store. Northgate also had all of our appliances delivered and installed which was nice.
We paid for an air fryer tray for our oven, and when we moved in, there was no air fryer tray. I brought this up and Northgate told me it was on the delivery truck. I looked in our house several times and no air fryer tray was there. Eventually they gave us a new one but I felt like I had to be persistent that the tray was never delivered.
We have also been having problems with our fridge. The top ice maker has never made any ice. Northgate has been out 3 times to fix the issue but it never makes any ice. Cameron, the service tech, has been extremely helpful and an advocate for us. However, whenever I call the store to report the issue again, the salespeople act like I don't know my head from a hole in the ground. I constantly get questioned if the fridge is on, etc. This is a brand new fridge that has never made ice in the top tray and I feel like I have to be persistent or the issue will never get fixed (and Northgate would be fine with that). Read moreI have had multiple problems with my stove one the fan is so loud I have to turn up the volume on my tv when the stove is on. They replaced the fan and it is still ridiculously noisy. Now they are telling me that is not unusual for the fan to be loud. I have had several stoves in my life and never have I had one that is so loud. I can’t believe they’re trying to convince me that this is normal. Second problem is the oven won’t reach the temperature I’ve set. They came out and looked at it and couldn’t make it fail so basically they’re not doing anything about it. The Repair man said he would order a new control panel and call me when it came out and replace it no one ever called. I finally called them and they said the repairman said there was nothing wrong. Never ordered the part and they sent me a bill..
